I would like to know how many books were originally ordered and how much it cost - exactly. I wonder if Morris would talk with anyone about it. I am really curious about how much money she collected - and STOLE. This is a criminal offense. That money was to go to YT!!

She should be held accountable

This is horrid - some complete stranger could buy this book for $10 - but we all paid much more. How many I wonder has she sold on ebay!! This is outrageous.

If nothing else ebay needs to be contacted!!! She is selling stolen merchandise!!

is there anyway to find out if she sold more on Ebay without everyone knowing it,and pocketed the money .

I just did a search on ebay, and the cook book didn't come up. She must have sold them all! I was one of the lucky ones that got my order, although, I had to PM her a few times and ask her when she had shipped it out. I have had mine about a year, I think?

Are you saying that a year ago you bought the cookbook off of ebay from her? :confused:

No, I ordered here on YT. There was a thread saying there were some left, so hurry and order...something like that.

I did the search on ebay, after reading the recent additions on this thread.

We were happy to "lend" the YorkieTalk name for the cookbook. We weren't lending the name hoping for a huge donation to YorkieTalk or anything like that, we just saw members would enjoy a cookbook and she wanted to take charge of the project, which we agreed to. That is the same ebay item # that Sandy posted previously. The problem is you can have the same ebay # for multiples. So if she put in a quantity of 10 items they would all have the same item number. So we really can't tell by that how many she sold

you can tell if she sold more than one on ebay by looking at her feed back it shows only one sold on ebay.do you mean if she put it as alot that is the only way she would have the same item number.they wouldnt have the same number if she sold them seperate on ebay.

That particular auction is for 1. Simply click on the bidding history....had it been a dutch auction you'd be able to tell there.

Good to know - I had not actually gone to ebay to look. But that does still make me wonder if she has sold others on ebay. Or under another name or store name on ebay or any other auction site.

I know that YT wasn't looking to this project to be some big money maker -- but it would have been so nice to have made a difference in this way. The books were not cheap - but knowing that part of it was going to YT was what convinced me to buy them not only for myself, but also for gifts.

I think it is really sad that because of people like Missy, more and more things that want to be done with the YT name will be placed on admin's plate :(

It\'s too bad that all can\'t be adults here, and behave like civilized, caring people. I know this is an isolated event - but it saddens me.

As far as I can tell it was only one book that was sold on ebay. It really doesnt matter how much she took in bc it is still the same-she took money that did not belong to her. I dont think we have any grounds to prosecute her without anything in writing saying she must forward the proceeds to YT. She was given free reign of the project and unfortunately this is what has happened. No offense but I think Admin should be more involved or have a hand or watchful eye overseeing projects of this sum. I really thought they did have some control over the money but after all this came down I learned differently. A valueable lesson to us all.
