Thank God, everyone is safe. it is so COLD in NYC today.. it is very sad indeed..

The pilot really knew what he was doing., and thank God all the passengers and crew are all right. I just shutter to think of what could have happened.

If they were in crates by their owners, they would've had a better chance.

Thankfully all survived... What an outstanding pilot! I want him next time I fly. (I fly into La Guardia... I am originally from NY... my daughter still lives there).

My brother is an aerospace engineer and designing planes was his senior project so he knows planes back and forth. Birds can take a plane down, but it's really rare, more like a freak accident and the scenario has to be so specific in order for a plane to go down.
I hope every person got out ok and no pets were lost in that horrible accident.

Thank god there was a very experienced pilot in control..he did an amazing job! its a miracle!
I never thought about animals in the hold...now I can't stop thinking about that..
