I know girl, I didn't find many I liked either :( I bought the one with hearts on it for Valentines Day just because I wanted to make Tator a V-Day blanket, although I was necessarily *crazy* about it - but oh well :rolleyes: It turned out cute anyway :p

You are soooo right - CUTE boy prints are SO SO hard to find!! WHY is that??? That is so frustrating! :mad: I have TONS of cute fabrics for Tatum, but Stedman only has about 3 :( It's not that I don't want to buy him any, because I DO....but there just isn't NEAR as many cute boy prints as there are girls :(

I was SO MAD because I went to Hancock's web site several weeks ago (this was like BEFORE Christmas I think) and anyway, they had the CUTEST fleece...it was an "under the sea" print with fat colorful fish, lobsters and crabs and I can't remember what else....but the print was very whimsical and CUTE - and the colors were so bright! Well, I called the Hancock Fabrics here to see if they had it and they DID...however, I didn't make it to the store right away to pick it up and I went in about a week later to get a yard of it and there was NONE left :( OMG!! I could have just kicked myself! I was so mad :mad:

That's great that you got a deal on the fleece from Joann's though - they do have good sales! I wish we still had a Joann's here :( I don't know WHY it shut down - they were always sooooo busy.

I used to go in there in find so much more than just fleece too - they even had cute seasonal things (meaning decor items) for your HOUSE :D

you know sometimes I just think its better to buy online. you save time and gas and sometimes they have really great sales online. I know they have that strawberrry shortcake for $6 online @ hancock's:D. Like I don't have enough fabric right now and some arriving tomorrow..hehe.. I better now here anyone complain around here about being cold:)

I really do like buying online also...I think that there is also more of a selection, especially on eBay. I find SO many cute fabrics there - also ones that are hard to find or ones that the stores no longer carry.

Look at the adorable FLANNEL that I bought yesterday off eBay :D emilyann is going to make Tatum a bed out of it :D And Des (Tiger's Mom) is going to be making Tatum a Nightie out of it as well - trimmed in Hot Pink of course! :p I am so excited! :D

Oh no, $7.95 is not a bad price at all! I would EASILY pay that for a yard of SS fleece :D

Also, for the round if you get the size pillow you need just place it in between the two materials and tie up and you have your round bed!

You could always make a monkey one for us.....LOL That will solve all your problems there! Hehehe

Heck we would even take the baby animals...there are monkeys on it too! Those are CUTE they had NOTHING at our Joann Fabric:(

Oh, i do like it. EMILYANN you like to sew...hehe.. I have been thinking maybe someone can give me some advice. ;) I haven't sewn on a machine since high school. :eek: Nevermind! who can remember that..hehe.. I want to make some small toys like rectangular shape with the left over squares. If I remember correcly you would sew the fabric inside out and the when almost sewed all the way up you would turn inside out and the hand sew the hole...LOL.. is this correct??? I know some sew these so well. like chattiesmom that you can't even see a whole..:rolleyes: I need to take some classes here, i really do.. I bought the little hand held sewing machine, I am hoping this will work for the little toys. :confused: Any advice is good advice at this point.. HELP!! LOL and you know if I do sew it and it looks like craps....LOL.. I will give to my boy and he will chew it to death...LOL.. I will tell him to rip all the holes in it he wants and thrash it all around. :yeahthat: yea now I am being really silly!!!
