It's a bad time of year to try to find one and I was lucky to get mine from Target. I'm sure Nintendo was prepared for this and soon the stores will be re-stocked. Also I received the Mario Galaxy a few days ago and if you're a Mario fan, it's fantastic.

I have been hearing so much about Wii for so long and dh and I decided that this would be our Christmas present to each other ...vs another Tivo.
We looked everywhere and could not find one, nor the the Wii Fit. Finally we heard about Gamestop.com and were able to order it right away !!
So please try going to the sight and ordering directly. It worked for us.

Well the Gamestop.com is sold out. I am going to try and call each of the locations around here. I did get a Wii fit at Best Buy today though!!

Youll find one at a gamestop. Around here gamestops gets their new shipments in on Fridays I dont know if its the same where your at

Just to let you know multiple players can share a remote controller or can have their own. You can do this in the set up part. Also, friends can bring over their own remotes and use them with your wii and download their mii's onto your console. We did that with our friends and family and now when they come over they don't need to bring their controller because we already transferred their mii's to our console and we just share two controllers. Hope this makes sense.

Once you get it hooked up to the internet you can download games directly to your console for a reasonable price. Good luck, you'll have lots of fun with it.

Well I'm getting further than I have so far with Gamestop. I called all our locations here (I think 7) and one told me they were expecting them mid-week next week, and the other said maybe Friday. So I think I am just going to stick with them and call them everyday, they were really nice.

They are good ones to deal with because they can tell you everything you need for it. They also have a good selection of new and used games

We have four Gamestops around here ( two in the same mall

) they get a shipment of items everyday( that's what I was told) but all the stores seem to get different things , so make sure to call daily the different stores. I preordered RB2 ( was due in 1/1/09) for wii and it still hasn't come into the GS where I ordered it , but they got them in at all the other Gamestops , so call around daily.

I guess I will keep calling the Gamestop. But I guess if I don't get one by next Wednesday I'll have to suck it up and order one at a ridiculous price. I have my aunt in Seattle on the hunt, she's pretty savvy at finding these things!

That is how my DH got my Wii Fit...he called a game place...I think he called it Game Crazy and found out when they had a shipment coming in...said he got there and had to wait in line...luckily, he got one (he never stands in line for anything....and I can't imagine if he didn't get one after waiting so long)....

Have you gotten one yet??

Whoo-hooooo!!! My aunt just called and she found one in a Shopko in Seattle! She is carrying it on next week when she comes so no one will steal it

I almost slipped it to my hubby this evening!!
