| Stuck here on Christmas Eve morning.... Good Morning all..... and hope you are enjoying your Christmas Eve Morning. As I type (at 4 AM), I am at a hotel in Indianapolis. We were traveling back home from Michigan (where we had 20+ inches of snow in the 4 days that we were there.... and we loved it!!) and had to stop due to terrible icy roads. No snow here.... just a solid layer of ice on everything. There were so many accidents and people spun into the median and ditches that we decided it would be best to stop. My hubby fell in the parking lot trying to get stuff out of our vehicle to bring in the hotel. Thank-goodness we had already gotten Shelby & Seymour in, and he wasn't carrying one of them also. (it is bad enough that he fell!!) Hopefully the roads will be clear in a few hours and we can get our butts home...... I really don't want to spend Christmas Eve in Indianapolis in a hotel. Wish us luck on our journey today!!!........ Keep your fingers crossed that we get home!!

| Good morning to you, also, and Merry Christmas. Sorry you got stuck out of town. It certainly was icy last night here in Northern Kentucky. (We cancelled our plans because of the road conditions.) It is raining now, so it should be cleared up by now. Hope you arrive safely and give your furbabies a big hug!

| I live just north of Indy. hope you make it home safe & sound. it has been pretty bad here, hubby has been out since about 10 pm sanding roads and pulling people out of ditches. the weather keeps going on like this and the county will be out of sand for the rest of the winter. it's 8 am and pretty warm now but it's getting foggy so be safe out there. hope hubby is ok from falling.

| Bless your heart! We have been stranded several times in airports, which is not nearly so bad as on the road. We just decided this year not to try it and are thankful that we didn't! Our kids were very understanding but it's gonna be a lonely Christmas without them! God bless and protect you all and I am praying you get home safely!

| Kristi, stay safe and I hope the roads clear for you. Sorry to hear that hubby fell. That is what I like about California. I had driving in icy conditions. Hugs Sonya

| Wow, been there done that. Grew up in Illinois, and so had my share of snow. Down here when it snows(people DON'T know how to drive in it), and if we do get snow, everything shuts down, so we don't have to worry about going anywhere anyway. Hope and pray you get home safely, they are at least good about keeping the interstates cleaned off up that way. Where down south is home? |

| I'm in Michigan and I know how bad it is!! Oh I hope you get home soon. That has to be a terrible feeling to be stranded like that. I feel trapped in my house and thats bad enough! Drive safely! It's just getting worse here today, but they say tomorrow will be better. Hopefully the weather down there is better today!
