I am an old Michigan girl.... and driving in bad conditions isn't something new to me.... but I do know that even the biggest, badest, 4WD will slide like a big dog when it gets icy..... and the heavier it is, the more it will slide (I personally drive a small Rav 4 4WD and it did VERY well in the 20+ inches of snow that we had in Michgan (not to mention, was pretty stable on the icy roads)......but I just noticed that one of the interstates is STILL closed here in the Indy area.... it is not the one that we have to take, but it still looks pretty icy. I think that we will have some breakfast in a little while and maybe after rush hour, it will be better on the roads.Quote: |
