Good Morning all..... and hope you are enjoying your Christmas Eve Morning. As I type (at 4 AM), I am at a hotel in Indianapolis. We were traveling back home from Michigan (where we had 20+ inches of snow in the 4 days that we were there.... and we loved it!!) and had to stop due to terrible icy roads. No snow here.... just a solid layer of ice on everything. There were so many accidents and people spun into the median and ditches that we decided it would be best to stop. My hubby fell in the parking lot trying to get stuff out of our vehicle to bring in the hotel. Thank-goodness we had already gotten Shelby & Seymour in, and he wasn't carrying one of them also. (it is bad enough that he fell!!) Hopefully the roads will be clear in a few hours and we can get our butts home...... I really don't want to spend Christmas Eve in Indianapolis in a hotel.
Wish us luck on our journey today!!!........ Keep your fingers crossed that we get home!!
