Yorkie Lover Donating Member | I would agree to keep a close eye on them...if you see anything that is out of the ordinary then make that call!! Another thing you can do is talk to his parents and let them how you feel and what you are afraid might happen...!! You would rather be too careful than not careful enough!!

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | If it were me - I'd go back and try to talk TO him - tell him that you are kind of nervous and that his dog could easily hurt another dog one day - it's NOT the way to go training a dog to be agressive - does he have even younger brothers and sisters ? An agressive dog could easily hurt THEM and if he isn't careful with so much muscle he could be responsible for what his dog does and IF he ever threatens you or Brownie - you should call the police immediately - Since he's a neighbor - I'd talk to him just like you would a friend first....then if that doesn't work -I'd get tough with him...some kids really can respect you treating them as adults - but others will laugh in your face. That's pretty scary - Kids in my neighborhood have pitts - the new thing is to go down the street on their bikes...with the DOG pulling them - On hot Houston streets I really may call someone if I see THAT again. |

Donating YT 7000 Club Member | i would agree to keep an eye on him. as soon as you see something out of the ordinary, about aggression, etc. make the call. maybe if its cought early, they could do some training, and might not have to have the dog distroyed. that comment about brownie freaked me out a little, good luck!

| Being that this kid is imature and his Mom is strict. Maybe you can directly speak your concerns to his Mom. This way she can talk to her son and possibly get through to him. His actions towards raising this Pit Bull could possibly place the dog, other animals, and people in danger. I don't understand the mentality to raise a dog to have such aggressions. It's very disturbing.

I don't know if you ever saw what I did when my neighbors got a pitt... I FREAKED out and totally barricaded my fence on that side - It looked TERRIBLE - I am NOT a carpenter - I used plywood...fence posts...shelves....you name it - I POUNDED nails into it and my fence looks like I'm one of those crazy people waiting for an Alien Invasion - For a joke to make my husband laugh - I made THIS Banner and Hung it on my fence.....(Yes...I have WAY too much time on my hands ) the sign is gone and the pitt went away so now I'm left with my Alien Invasion Crappy looking Fence and poor Chanel lost her really good Spy-hole | |
