Sounds like a fun trip. Definitely wash your hands a lot. Do not use the air vent in the airplane. It just recirculates the air and blows the virus right up your nose. A virus is very tiny and can fit through the filters so turn that thing off. Also bring your own pillow the airplane pillow is used again and again and probably contains lots of...

Keep your immune system up by getting plenty of sleep. Stress also weakens the immune system so try not to worry too much. I will sometimes take the airborne and a good multi-vitamin before going.

And taking too many Vitamin C tablets are bad... there is a limit so careful.. or it can make you feel worse.

Kyle, it's so bitter, but, they had a segment on the news last year about it, to keep from getting colds to drink 1/2 cup a day..start drinking sweetie

Really?? I've never heard of that before! I always turn the air vent on full blast! I'm not gonna be doing that anymore.

I do not recommend Zicam nasal spray!!!!!!!! I used it ONE time as directed and I have never been able to taste or smell since. It has been 2 years now. It does not affect everyone the same way, but why take the chance??? The damage done to me by this dangerous product is permanent. PLEASE dont use this product!!!!

Airborne, or any off brand, since it's all the same stuff. Drink two of them a day, they work!

There's a lot of people who say it doesn't work (they say it's all in your head, heck it still works, even if I may be tricking myself) but if I feel a cold starting to come on I'll drink a couple of those a day for a few days and the feeling of the cold will go away.
This just happened last week. I was at work and I'd feel really hot and sweaty, then cold, and my head was hurting and I kept sneezing. I did the whole airborne thing and it went away! If I'm already sick it doesn't do much except maybe cut my cold down by a day or two.

I hate being sick on vacations. I took a cruise a couple of years ago with my parents. During the last 2 days I got strep throat, 102 fever, and the flu.

Have fun in Disneyworld!!! I wanna go so badly next year. I've only been to disneyland.

Airborne--yes!

It may be in my head but they work--they will also ward off a hangover if taken prior to drinking, before bed and again the morning after.

There has already been a class action lawsuite against Zicam, and Zicam lost. About 300 people in that group completly lost all smell and taste, permanently. I am in a second class action lawsuit with about 50 or more people. There was also a one hour special on TV last year about Zicam and how it is causing this. Zicam, of course, is in denial. It does work for some people with no problems, but why take a chance. It only takes one time to loose something that most of us take for granted. I feel blessed that I am not in any pain with this problem, but what I wouldnt give just to be able to taste my Moms cooking once again.

I don't know what is worse! A hangover or taking three Airborne doses.
