| What My Daughter is Thankful For My 7 yo daughter brought home a turkey she made in school today. On each of the feathers, they were to write something that they were thankful for. Now, we all know how abstract the mind of a child can be at times. Allow me to share with you exactly 'what' she is thankful for, quoted word for word: 1) For my dogs because without them I would be lonely. 2) For food because I could not survive without it. 3) Bunnies because without them I could not sleep...yes, this means I have a stuffed bunny that sleeps with me. 4) Easter because without it I would not have much candy. 5) Christmas because without it I would not have much toys. 6) God because if he was not here we would not be here right now. 7) Cats because without them I would only have 96 littlest pet shops instead of 104. Notice how she is not thankful for anyone in her family. Clearly, I do not out rank candy, bunnies or littlest pet shop toys. |

YT 2000 Club Member | That is cute! When my 4 boy's were in Kindergarten, their teacher had them do a project a lot like that, my youngest, who is a BIG mama's boy, was the only one that had me in it and quite a few times, my other 3 boy's did not! No their toy's and Guinea pigs were more important than me

| That's cute. The last one made me laugh about the cats for her littlest pet shop. Gotta love a kids mind.

| I think she has done a wonderful job with her thoughts. She sounds very mature for 7yrs old. Don't feel bad, afterall, all mommies are taken for granted. LOL |
