| My sons first consert and I worried out of my mind! My husband is 39 years young. He has been going to the Ozz fest every year since theres been one. He came home one year with a busted nose. Another year with a broken finger. I have gone with him to 4 of them and eachtime I tell him I will never go again. The last time (2 years ago) was when I just said no more! That's when he busted is nose. Well last year my son wanted to go with his dad. I was like hell no! Tim (my husband) really wanted to take him too. There was no way I was about to let him go. So we made a pact that if Tim came home with no injuries and I went the whole year without hearing anything bad that went on at the Ozz Fest (he sometimes keeps thinks form me, but I will find out sooner or later) then maybe I would think about letting him go the following year. Well thankfully he came back uninjured and even though I was more the certain that I would hear something before the the next consert. but I didn't. So my son is out there. And I am so worried!

| Im sure he will be fine. I have been to Oz Fest a few times but really didn't care for it. I mean it was great music but the people suck. SOme really need to learn what a shower is. I am sure your hubby will take care of your son and make sure that nothing happened to him. |

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | I agree....when your hubby went alone - it was different - with your son I'm betting he'll keep an eye out and they both stay clear of the rowdys - though how anyone could have FUN at that is beyone me....I love music but something about THAT kind of music makes me think of a pretty wild bunch - I bet your son has a blast ! |

| Well they made it home safe and sound. My son was dead tired. But he was so excited. He came home covered from head to toe with dirt. They came home around 11pm took showers and went right off to bed. The next day he was out bragging to all the kids on the block. He is still talking about it. He was a bit disapointed becasue he found out his favorite band (slip Knot) backed out of the tour. But as a special guest just for that So Cal Inland Emipre consert, they ended up being there. He was so happy! He can't wait to go next year,,,,, I hate to say this, but Ozzy's gettin pretty old. I don't know how he even does it now. This just may have been the last Ozz Fest. In that case I am happy my son was able to see it! If the old guys decides to do this again next year,,,,, I hope it gets a little easier on me and not worry so much!
