Thanks for clarifying, I am not fully aware of the side affects of these types of medications.

someone had mentioned here that this woman is mentally ill and stopped taking her medication because she was "gaining weight".

i don't know what to say.....

i would happily be the fattest person in the world then to do something so cruel to a loving dog.

the only being that loved this woman unconditionally was bobo. he loved her no matter how crazy, how insane, or how fat she is. it wouldn't have mattered to this little dog. this dog would have loved her just the way she was.

she hogtied and burnt her most loving friend in this world.

i am so sad, bobo did not deserve this.

i don't know how to feel about this, this is so sad. bobo died because this this woman didn't like the "weight-gain"...he died because of someone's vanity.

I agree. I do not think I will post anymore. This is becoming an obsession to me. I close my eyes and see Bobo. I need a break. I have a fur baby at home who needs me. And if I could have I would have protected Bobo with everything I had too.

It is terrible that this poor pup had to suffer and eventually died. It shouldn't have happened. It is a terrible event.

well, i DID ask you the question, "what have you done to help raise awareness?" in my post. you did not answer, and you don't have to. i am not attacking you.

I don't think starting a post like that right now would be a good idea seeing how much anger this issue has already brought up. Also I wouldn't feel qualified doing such a thing since I haven't studied very much with mental illnesses and there pets.

Also I didn't list out anything that I have done to raise awareness because I felt kind of attacked like I was being asked to prove myself. But this thread has made me think that maybe more should be done, so maybe I should re-evaluate the issue a little myself. I wasn't trying to say I was some doctor in Mental Illness studies or anything and don't claim to be, I simply have a heart for the issue.

I appreciate that you have ended this in a civil way in light of the way it got overly heated earlier.

I am done with the discussion now though as I told my thoughts on how she shouldn't get the entire blame and that was all I was trying to say, I certainly didn't want to start a huge debate. May Bobo rest in peace.
