Wal Mart has what is called a Money Gram. That is the best and most reasonable way to get it to her, western union is too expensive, once it is sent she can go pick it up showing her id at the closest Wal Mart to her. It must have her full name and then also you can let her know a pass word to use besides showing her drivers license. Once it is sent it is ready usually with in ten minutes to the person it is sent to.

Hi all, checking in before bed like I always do. This talk about helping the kids and I is about to make me cry and I lost my tears a long time ago. The kindness of the Yorkie Talk community is overwhelming. You don't even know me. No, I don't have a bank acct or credit card to open Pay Pal. At home I pretty much just cash my check at the corner store and pay my bills. No need with the fuss of a bank, it's gone. There's no pretty way to put it.

I guess the easiest way would be the moneygram service at Walmart. I've heard it's pretty cheap. You would be given a refrence number I would have to have, and provide the senders name. it takes a lot to sit her and give people instructions on how to help but you're all trying so hard.

Please know I will be going to bed tonight with a warm feeling I haven't had in a long time, I am not alone..and someone cares. Your prayers for all of us on the Gulf coast, some in worse shape than others, are surely heard. How could they not be.

no sweetie - you are NOT alone. This site helped me so much after my husband died so I know first hand what people here are capable of....

First of all, take a few nice deep breaths and let yourself rest easy hon knowing the ladies here are willing to help. I know your fears and the scare of not knowing if your home is standing or not. But more importantly I know your worries with special needs children. The changes are so hard on them. You and your family have my love and my thoughts.

I was able to send the money to Villette thru ebay so she could send it to Wal-Mart. It was so much faster that way. I want to thank Villette for being the angel she is and to Vi (stella's mom) for her very thoughtful contribution. I'm sure there are others who have helped out as well. Denise, hang in there. Let us know if your house is still standing and if you still have your job. Personally I'm not quitting till I know you and the two kids are ok.
