| Anyone use FireFox browser? I need help :-( If anyone knows the answer to this question, I will hug you virtually forever!!! Firefox updated on me to the new version, 2. something. Even though whenever I opened it I would click on "do not update" or something to that effect. Anyway, it updated somehow and lost ALL my bookmarks and I don't have a back up that I can find. Does anyone know anything about this update?

Donating YT 10K Club Member | We have firefox on our computer....I can't tell you how get your bookmarks back...I'd suggest using system restore on your computer. Then you can set your firefox preferences to manual updates only.

| Hey Deb, I did the system restore right away (this happened today) and restored it to a week ago since I hadn't done any changes to anything since then. But it still came back with all the bookmarks and history wiped out, I found some bookmark back ups from a few months ago, but dang it, I probably have about 50 more that I NEED!! Do you have version 2.0.0.16? I guess I'm going to have to go to tech support on Mozilla....Grrrrrrrrrrr

| Do you use another browser aswell? If you do you should be able to import them. I'm sorry a system restore didn't bring back your bookmarks, I was going to suggest that also but Deb beat me to it. I'm using Firefox but I'm using the version 3 one and I've not had any problem with it at all and it imported all my bookmarks.

| Hmm, that's odd. Is it set to auto update? If it is turn those off. Okay... this may help. Apparently Firefox backsup bookmarks everyday, I'm not sure if this is entirely true but I'm hoping for your benefit that it is. Quote:
**Crosses fingers for you** Let me know if you find it and I'll look to see how to restore them.
