| My best wishes that your whole family recovers from such a horrible disaster in good time and all the best to you for opening your heart and home to them. Simply being with family should be comforting.

| Just an update..........With a big lump in my throat. My father lost everything in his home. His african grey birds gone. Two died in the surge, he left so fast he couldn't take them. His home had over 4ft of water, a police officer I went to school with called and said it was pretty bad. Half way up on his house. He was going up watch his house for him until he could return. My sister lived a mile from him it was the same. She lost all her furniture.....everything. Antiques that have been in the family for years. GONE! My nephew is 20 years old married with a 2 and 3 year old little girls. He had no homeowners insurance on his trailor. My niece is 24 and just got married in July and bought a house. She had no insurance because the little house was not included on the loan because it was damaged so much from hurricane Rita. They remodeled it with money they had just got from their wedding. They lived on 301 Cottonwood blvd, 160 Ridgewood St. and 2 houses on Holly st. in Bridge city Tx 77611. Google-Earth it and you can see their houses before. I live at 25003 Ivy Trace Ln Katy Tx 77494. My name is Pamala Kech, Anyone who wants to send clothes for the baby girls, they are sizes 2T and 3T. I feel bad asking but I have never been in this position before. We are waiting to see what FEMA does! So far nothing. We were hit here in Katy also and we don't even have grocery stores with cold food. Everything was lost because we lost power here also for days now!.....We are just asking for the babies. The rest of us will make do! Their names are Bayllie and Brynllie. I'm just sick.......I have 10 people in my home....My husband and I love them and will have them here as long as they need us. I know they would be there for us! Thanks for all the prayers.............WE NEED THEM |

| Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | OH no I'm so sorry about your Dad - his birds ...and your nephew - I'm truly sorry ! I'm going to send you a pm - I don't have any baby clothes but knowing people on this site... you should hear from some who may. That's awful about your family...that area was so hard hit I just don't know what to say. You have my prayers ...I tried calling you but didn't get thru Pam - you need to get ADMIN here to take your full address and phone number off the site - people can private message you to contact you - there's nuts out there and this is a public site... just for your safety

| I just talked with Pam and she and her family are on their way back to Katy. They went to see what damage was done. I am sure she will post pics when she has time but her sister lost everything and so did her father. Her newlywed neice lost everything also. Thank goodness Pam has her electricity back on because everyone is staying at her house. They definitely need our prayers.

| Thanks Gayle, I just talked with Pam's sister and she said that everything she owns now is in a little plastic bag. My daughter and I have sent several boxes. Right now they don't even have food. We are putting clothes of all sizes in because they have nothing. Mens size large or XL would be appreciated, women's size 7 shoes, women's size 2x or size 18. I think even boxed food and snacks would greatly be appreciated. These are all my suggestions. They have asked for nothing but stuff for the girls. I think now that the girls have quite a few things and it's the adults that need clothes and stuff.

| I can't really explain how it felt to hold my sister as she fell in my arms crying. I felt so helpless. My father's whole life was in that house. I grew up there. It was devastating. I will post pictures soon. I really tired tonight. We drove for hours. Pictures up soon, thank you all so much.........There are no words to show our gratitude. Pam |
