Our family needs prayers after ike
 
Please pray for our family, my home in Katy, Texas faired pretty well. We only lost trees and shrubs. My family has suffered tremendous losses, their homes are in Bridge City Tx and they lost everything. My father, my sister, and many friends have lost it all. The surge from hurricane IKE flooded their house :(completely. We are just sick. I have 12 family member in my 4 bedroom house. We really just not sure what to do when you lose it all. We are thankful they all left and did not try to ride it out. The devastation is unbelievable. :(

I'm so sorry, I don't know what to say. Like you said, you can just be thankful they left and you still have them. Sending a prayer for your family.

oh no!! Terrible news but look at it on the bright side everyine is ok and at the end of the day that is wat truly matters. Sending lots of prayers your way so they all recover from this quickly. Hugs to all. Also tell bella that I haven't stopped thinking about her.

I'm so sorry for your family. I watched the hurricane news all of last night and felt so sick inside for those families losing what they've worked their whole lives for. I can't imagine. I am thankful that they are all still with you, but I know this has to be so devastating for all of you. Sending hugs and I'll pray for you and yours.

I, too, am glad that they got out. I give you applause.......taking in so many family members and willing to share your home with them. They are very lucky to have you!!!! I can imagine how difficult it can get with so many people under one roof, but that is what families are for....... and it may be your "in time of need" someday, and I am sure they would do the same for you. So sorry to hear of all the loss and devastation.

Oh no:( I'm so sorry for everyone that lost their homes:cry: I will pray that the insurance companies settle quickly and fairly for them so that they can begin again.

:(:(:(:(:( I\'m SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO SORRY !!! OMG I really am - you\'re the first that I\'ve seen that\'s lost everything. I hope your family has insurance and the good part is - they\'re ALIVE !!!

So you have power ...we\'re one of the lucky ones - I was just on the Centerpoint site and 88% of the people here have NO power :(

I wish I had advise for you but there is help for those who lost it all - I know FEMA is offering up to 30 thousand for relief but that\'s no consolation when you\'ve lost everything that you can\'t replace. I\'m so sorry and if you need ANYTHING - please call me !! I\'m just down the line from you off the Katy Freeway near 610 loop

and a ps - it is POURING RAIN today - my heart goes out to all with no power - it\'s raining just as bad as it was during the hurricane :(

Prayers to you and your family. I am so sorry to hear that your family lost so much in the storm, but at least you still have each other. That is what is most important. Big hug to all of you... :ghug:
