| Welcome to YT. We made a visit to PA in 93 and I loved it. Stayed in York and my daughter and I ran all over the place. It was a working week for my son in law so we and my 2 grandsons enjoyed it. I'm a history buff, especially civil war so needless to say Gettyburg blew me away.

| YT Graphic Artist Donating Member | Well, Rhode Island is known for: 1. Coffee Milk (and No, it's not coffee with milk in it, it's made with coffee syrup, just like chocolate syrup - RI is the only state that has it. Made by the Autocrat company) 2. We are the "Biggest little state in the union" 3. Our state has the longest name of any state. The official state name is "Rhode Island and the Providence Plantations" 4. The Hasbro company is here! We have Mr. Potato head statues all over Providence. 5. Del's Lemonade - it's frozen (so yummy!) 6. Chowder & Clamcakes! We are the Ocean State after all!

| Hmmm, I guess Disney World and oranges. I live on the space coast so there is also the Kennedy Space Center and the space shuttle. St Augustine is the oldest city in our nation but was under spanish rule so not the oldest US city and gets forgotten about- really neat city though- way better than Disney. And of course, as already mentioned, beaches, palm trees and hurricanes.![]() Oops, how could I forget- we are The Sunshine State!
