| AAAHH I have to go to the dentist! I'm such a baby . I have only had ONE cavitiy my whole entire life, that was on a babytooth! Well I haven't been to the dentist in like 2 years, finally go this past feb. and I have 9 cavities! I've been putting them off getting filled because my schedule is crazy, well and I'm scared, but I finally made my appointment, and it's in less than an hour!!! I'm only getting a couple filled today, but I'm scared to death of the needle to numb. I don't know how I'm going to get through this, I know I'm going to start crying. Please keep me in your thoughts! (I know there's a section for prayers/thoughts needed, but this is not something critical too most so I didn't want to waste space in there, there are people and yorkies out there w/ worse problems then cavities) One good thing out of this is I got approved for a huge amount with care credit, so God forbid something happen to one of the babies (or myself) I will have that money to use for emergencies. I'm just glad I can't spend it at the mall, or I'd be in a lot of trouble, even though after this I probably will need to do some retail therapy.

| I feel for you. They have great numbing gel they put on before they stick you making the needle barely noticeable. I have dental phobia, am headed out for cleaning and exam in a few minutes. Know that you are not alone and all will be OK!

| Ooh cleanings aren't good either, I hate the sounds. I hope your appointment went well! Mine was o.k..the gel worked wonders though! The actual procedure wasn't as bad as I thought it would be, but I have to go back a few more times

Donating YT 30K Club Member | I am glad it went a little better than you expected. I have terrible teeth and even though I go to the dentist all the time I hate it. I know take one of my Ativan (Anxiety meds) and it helps relax me.

| Glad it was a positive experience for you. So much can be said for having a dentist that you like and trust. It took me years to find one and he has been so very patient with me. My visit was OK, thanks.

| I SO feel you. Others would say about me: Thats one tough chick - dont mess with her - this and that and mostly true because I will not be wronged and let it slide. For example Or if someone asks me do you like my shirt? I will tell them HONESTLY... THEY ASKED if I liked the shirt. They didnt ask if I would like to compliment them. Therefore, I honestly tell them Yes or No I think another color might work better. They look at me dumbfounded - when people know NOT to ask me unless they can handle the truth. Just another example. Point is - Im a strong confident women and it shines through. Well Hunny! Let my lil hiney get in a dentist chair! It starts THE FIRST 'pressure' I feel. I feel 3 yrs old and my husband comes in with me! I go to the same dentist and have now for about 10 yrs. Still - I cry on 'well checks'. He hands me my tissue at just about the right time and begs me to please stop crying - but I cant. I am crying now! So this makes me thinkie: I think the dentist may bring back some kind of childhood experience I dont remember - but my heart does. Know what I mean? Maybe when I was a child a dentist mistreated me - or treated me even and it wacked my head out a tad. |
