I use to have fun with the gurrican parties.....now with a 5 year old and 14 day old at home and a teen off in a different part of Baton Rouge has me so stressed. I am not sure what we are going to do yer, will have to decide by tomorrow. My husband is a electrician and I don't want to be away from him, he wants to send us off..........so? Y'all be safe!!

I found something rather interesting on the internet today.
I was curious about the name Gustav, so I searched.
It is a Royalty boys name from a German/ Scandinavian origin.
It means---"Staff of God"------"God's Staff " meaning the instrument by which God herds His flock.

we are good as of now... starting to rain and see some wind but not so bad... sure we wont get much sleep tonite

will be watching....
We will most likely lose power by the morning so wont have internet for a while

I am praying that everyone will be safe. We live in southeast Texas about 60 miles or less from the Louisiana border and about 60 miles from the Gulf of Mexico. We are expecting tropical storm conditions and lots of rain here starting night and tomorrow.
