I was a cheerleader! I could tumble all the way down the basketball court, or cheer outside in 30mph winds and it WOULD NOT MOVE!! Aqua Net was a beautiful thing.

Ive changed my look I think.....

Blue jean skirt.... oversized off the shoulder top... black belt ... poofy hair ... one side pulled back with "comb"

Dont think I have not been lookin for one!!! If could sew..... I woulda made me one!!!

I used to have one that was blue jean on the top then it was ruffled eyelet lace and then I had a black net one (not sure why I ever thought it was cute).

I think I just want to wear lace gloves

I love it! We were so funny back then, weren't we? The lion comment cracked me up. I teased my bangs way up and my sides way out and my step dad alternated between calling me a rooster and calling me a cobra.

LOL, I am having so mauch fun on that site! Here is a descrption of the preppy look. 1980s The Preppy Look on Like Totally 80's

Clothes worn in the 80’s Preppie period included blazers, button down shirts, polo shirts, a sweater casually drapes around the shoulders, dress pants, skirts for women and dress shoes (penny loafers). Traditionally, they were nice clothes. Preppies didn’t follow the trends of ripped clothing, punk rockers, neon and exercise gurus. They looked to the future and wanted to be taken seriously, and the first step was looking good.

I personally aimed for as close to the Madonna look as my mom would let me get away with.
