My Tiny Treasures Donating Member | Yuck! I just ran out for lunch and grabbed a grilled chicken salad from Dairy Queen. Worst salad I ever had! How do you mess up a salad? Bitter lettuce and the tomato is gross! The dressing I threw away, good thing I had spare here at work. yuck -yuck! GOOD thing I bought a blizzard for desert!!! LOL LOL |

| I can't do the fast food salads, to me they never are fresh enough. Hope you enjoy dessert at least. |

| I had a yuck salad last week that I made myself. Up until then I was on a salad kick and was making one every day for lunch. As I was chewing the second to the last bite I looked in the bowl and saw.... a BUG! It was a dead green leaf eating bug- maybe half an inch long, the exact color of the lettuce. I buy the pre mixed bags of organic lettuce for the convenience of having the blend of lettuces but I still give it a rinse. I guess I washed the bug too. It was so awful I haven't been able to eat a salad since then.

| I know! I think that when you give up the pesticides you do increase your bug potential. I found a dead ladybug in some organic escarole once. Luckily the bright red stood out so I saw it while I was washing it.

| I know, silly me assuming lettuce was vegetarian.
