I have had some strange things happen in my life.. and so has my oldest daughter and her two girls.

I have never had ghost encounters but I do have deja vu ALOT. Almost everyday, like someone will be telling me something but it feels like I have already seen this whole scenario. The one that creeped me out the most was when I went to London someone asked me where some street was and I told them exactly where it was with all the streets that preceded it was. I saw my dad's spirit waiting outside my mother's apartment door about a month before my mother died. It wasn't a ghost, just a shimmer in the air, but I recognized him. He didn't say anything, was just there, waiting. It didn't startle or upset me. I saw him a second time walking away down the hallway outside her door. It was comforting to know he was nearby and would be there when my mother's time came.

When my mother and father were newleyweds, mother was at work one day and heard my father say her name very plainly. She turned around, expecting to see him standing there, but he wasn't there. Later, she told him about it and he said he had stepped off the curb right in the path of an oncoming car right at that time and had said her name out loud. He was on his way to meet mother for lunch, so they knew the exact time. He was blocks away, but she heard him. I guess that's ESP and she heard him because they were both thinking about the other one at that time.

I think anything is possible and there are many things in this world that we don't know anything about. I like to think that spirits are kind, but I've heard stories about evil spirits, too, that can't be ignored. I'm a Christian and don't believe that anything from beyond the grave can hurt me. I hope I don't ever get the chance to test that belief!

That sounds like an experience i had when i was the same age, 4 or 5. I used to sleep in bed with my mom cause i was scared and one night for no apparent reason i woke up and there was a figure at my doorway. Like you, i remember it so vividly, he looked pretty tall, maybe 6 or 7 ft, he was hairy from top to bottom, i mean real hairy, long thick hair. I don't remember a face cause it was dark but i do know that he looked at me thru the open door and since i was so little i called out a name, and it went away, then it came back a couple times to look thru at me again and finally went away for good. It looked surprised that i saw it, cause when i spoke to it is when it left and did a double check. It was freaky i tell you, and my mom also thinks i was dreaming, but no way, i know i wasn't.

Well one day my mom was taking a nap in the bedroom when my grandmother went to the room to wake her up and she said her name but my mom went back to sleep. Later she went to ask my grandmother why she woke her and my grandmother said she never went in the room, it wasnt her She even saw her face and everything and she said she wasn't dreaming

ive posted stuff before but im not sure if i posted this since we are talking on esp and stuff too

my mom said when i was 3 or 4 i spent the night at "nannys" my aunt and the next morning she said i ran in to her room..going "good morning mommy..wake up" and i gave her a hug and a kiss and left the room giggling..so she got up came downstairs and asked my dad.."wheres tammy?" he said still at nannys..she said no she was just here..she woke me up..

dad said nope she isnt here

the deja vu..i had it bad when i was little..i mean i knew what would happen the next day, i knew who was calling, i knew when the phone woud ring..

i also remeber a vision or something from when i was little..that i was riding in one of the horse drawn buckboard wagons with my uncle ronnie..and i just remember looking up at him and smilling and laughing..but it was not this time frame..you know? it was like a long long time ago..1800ish

when i was 15 i was up late watching wings on usa it came on at 11pm and i was at the end of my bed with my feet up and my hands under my chin and my door was shut the lights out and everyone else in bed..well my door opens..with the click..and i see a dark figure there and the whites of his eye and wave and say hey dad..the door slammed shut!!..i got scared and openned the door and no one was there and every else was a sleep

Although she was a hoarder I learned from the neighbors that she was also very kind to them. She gave candy to the kids and baked pies and cakes as well which is actually kind of gross since the place was infected with roaches and mice. YUCK!!!!

My DH and I went back many times over the next few weeks cleaning, meeting antique dealers, and also talking to the neighbors. They told me that a few years earlier her home was broken into and she was tied up by these robbers and they ransacked the place. One of the neighbors found her tied to a chair in her living room the following day her little dog sitting at her feet crying. After that, she hired someone to board up all of her windows for safety. How sad...

We talked about how we could "feel" someone watching over us as we continues to clean and empty out the house. This was not a bad feeling but it felt like she was just watching us as we worked.

After about a month or so we had things just about cleaned up but I kept having this nagging feeling like we had missed something. I was drawn to the staircase that went up to the apartment. I really cannot explain this feeling but I took a ladder and decided to look in a little open space above the first landing but didn't find anything. DH found me on the ladder and asked if I was crazy or just trying to break my neck. I told him about this "feeling" and he said that he would take a look. He found a small jewelry box with a DIAMOND RING tucked up inside this opening that I had been drawn to. We took it home and I showed my mom and she looked shocked and ask where I had got it from. I told her we found it hidden @ "J" house. She then told me it was the engagement ring that my GF had given "J" when he asked her to marry him!!!!

On the final day we were there, I had an antique appliance dealer come out to pick up 2 really cool stoves. They looked like the ones that are on Rachel Ray and Everyone Love Raymondreally cool and from the 1930's. The dealer quickly took the one in the main kitchen and then when upstairs with DH to the apartment to remove the other. After a few minutes, they both came back down looking REALLY PALE! The dealer quickly left (MORE LIKE RAN) and said he wasn't interested in the other stove and my DH really looked shook up. He would not talk about what happened upstairs and said that he was ready to leave and would NEVER go back! Believe me he is NOT a chicken or a wimp but something in the apartment scared the Cr@p out of them. The only thing he has ever said about it was that something evil was up there with them and they were NOT happy that their space was being disturbed.



We never did go back. My mom sold the place AS IS. DH has talked about the feeling that he got when he was upstairs a few times since then. I even heard him tell his buddy while sitting around a bon fire how creeped out he was. For a long time after all of this happened, I swear that I would feel "J" around me. At first it was quite a bit but as time when on it become less and less.



****Like I said in the beginning of this story~~~I am not a wack job! I swear that this really happened and if you really knew me and my DH you would know that it is entirely true!

I used to have deja vu a lot when I was younger. I have really great intuition I guess you can call it, and apparently so did my great grandmother.

I grew up in an older home, probably over 80 years old when I was living there, and I don't remember ever really seeing anything but I always had a "feeling". My room was eventually in the basement once my dad finished it and I would sing "Jesus Loves Me" every time I got creeped out. I used to think I heard footsteps and stuff in the basement. When I was a pre-teen I had this phone, I forgot what it was called...like a Clueless phone or something and you could change your voice and stuff. It had this option that would let you know if someone picked up the phone while you were on it, to prevent eavesdropping. Well one night I was home alone talking to my grandma on it and all of a sudden my phone said "Someone has picked up the line"!!! I grabbed my dog and ran the heck outta there until my mom got home.

The lady that bought that house from us made our old neighbor call us after about a month or so because she kept seeing and hearing ghosts, I think 2 children she said. Ahh!! She wanted to know if we ever had any experiences.

Another weird thing that happened to me was one night my cousin was sleeping over, I was about 7, and I saw a shadow outside the LR window that looked like a man. I was so scared and hid under the blankets the whole night. Well, throughout the year after that I kept seeing that same figure everywhere! We had a really long phone cord and it fell onto the floor in that same shape of a man and the vaccum cord did the same thing..weird!

My final story is something I have always wanted to know more about because I was only about 3 or 4 at the time. I am a Christian but never knew about God or Jesus until I went to Kindergarten. This is all I remember...I was in the living room watching TV and my mom was in the kitchen doing bills or something while my little sister was taking a nap. I turned the TV off and then all of a sudden an image appeared on the TV screen and said something to me. I asked my mom about this several years later because it was one of my first memories and I thought maybe I had dreamt it. She said that I came into the kitchen and told her I had talked to God. Weird!!! I am convinced this is true and I wish I could remember what He had to say to me!

I dunno if I believe or not.. but here are 2 things that I have experienced

I was driving home late at night (2 or 3 in the morning) down this road I know like the back of my hand. I saw this girl walking on the road carrying her shoes and dressed in a white dress. Nothing really unusual except the style of the dress was outdated. I thought it was weird that she would be walking down this road at that time alone and carryign her shoes, but I kept driving. The more I thought about it, I looked it up online and sure enough there is a story about a girl who haunts that road and is dressed all in white. CCRREEPPYYY!

This story may sound even creepier, but its not creepy at all... I NEVER felt scared, not one time. I was like 22 and living with my mom and stepdad. He had a finished basement and I had my own bedroom and bathroom and entryway. Well I had dreams that this woman was always around, old fashioned kind of, wearing a sunhat type thing. She was soo nice and I never felt afraid of her. I don't know if I was awake or not when this happened, and I never physically saw her. I felt her presence and had visions in my mind of what she looked like.
I never told my mom and stepdad, I never really thought too much about it. YEARS later my mom was packing up the house to move. I was 29 at the time and had not lived there for 6 years. She was telling me how she was going to miss her ghost. I said "What ghost, you never mentioned a ghost before." she said "oh yeah, I have a woman down here in the basement (my mom set up my old room as her workout room and painting studio). My mom then went on to describe the woman and it was EXACTLY the woman I used to 'see'. I told my mom about it and that I knew her. She was not surprised at all. I told my mom she used to take care of me when Id come home late and it was dark or I was restless in my sleep she'd be there sitting with me. It was just sooo weird.

Ive always been one to know whos calling w/o having to look at the phone, OR I get a sense while driving that I better slow down and sure enough Id either pass a cop or avoid an accident and de'ja vous, Ive had that all my life, very strongly. My mom is convince that my great grand-mother is my guardian angel and with me all the time.

Ive also read the secret recently and think maybe my intuition has something to do with what Im bringing onto myself. If I am thinking about someone, they are going to call, thats why I know who is calling before I answer. Or if I am thinking I need to slow down, there could be a cop up ahead, then of course there is a cop up ahead, I willed him there.

Sooo Im not sure if I believe in ghosts or not... it could just be the power of your mind. I dunno!
