Our Blessings R Many Donating Member | Fire Over The Mountain From Us Whewie, looked to south west of us and this is what we see, PRAYING that it stays in the forest and doesn't come over the mountain ridge into the residential areas. God Bless those that are devoted to being fire fighters. Hearing many fire sirens. Haven't heard the fire bombers yet nor seen them. Which is unusual. Expect to see them flying low over us soon. It is very windy. Will come back later and update this thread. We are fine as long as it stays over in the forest, no homes are allowed to be built in there, so that is the good news. | If they say leave, then get the heck out of there. Hopefully it won't come over the mountain.

Our Blessings R Many Donating Member | It Is Under Control. SO THANKFUL. Looks like they got it all under control. Very scarey. We had fire just behind us about a month ago. We have a great system set up, rain birds on tall pvc pipe with garden hose hooked up to it so it waters down our place. Have four seperate systems, one located on each South, North, East and West sides of our home. We have had to use them couple times. Thanks everyone for your prayers. Patti and Jack |

Our Blessings R Many Donating Member | Mayas Mommy, importantly to post first, prayers you will be feeling much better and it isn't any thing serious. Please keep in touch an let me know how you are and also keeping prayers going for your hubby and his back. This is a picture in our local paper today showing the fire bomber doing drop onto the ridge, these people that take on being with the fire department are to be sooooo appeciated for dedication in all that they do. Posting the picture from the paper, thankfully there has been no flare ups, they were able to contain it below the ridge. |
