I said that back in Aug. When gas was around $3.50-$3.65 here......

Well today it is $1.93 -- we are one of the lowest cities in the country - not sure why. Woo-hoo!!!!

But for those wondering why the prices are dropping - it doesn't have anything to do with the election. It's about the economy and demand is down because the cost of everything else is up

$1.89 in Oklahoma City yesterday - the lowest I've seen. Locally, prices seem to be generally in the $1.89 to $2.09 range.

Wow...under $2...haven't seen that here in NY/NJ/NYC suburbs area for almost 2 years now.
It will be interesting to see what happens after the election.

It's not coming down because of the election..?? It's coming down(if you watch the dow during the week), barrels of oil are coming down, people aren't driving like they were, so, now they're talking about stopping so much production of it, which will cause it to go up again. I go to mapquest and then click on gas prices. Then if you go on nationwide, there is one gas station that has it for $1/gallon
