Dena needs to pick the motto- she is her Mommy!:)

I think many are willing to do what they can to help her!

I just joined the forum a couple hours ago and have spent that entire time reading this thread!:eek: I'm wishing you (Dena) luck with Emma, you are truly and incredible woman. Not many people would take the steps that you have to make sure that this little Chi has a chance. I for one believe she does and is much better off for knowing you.

Forums can really bring out some crazy people, don't let it get to you, you know what you are doing is what needs to be done. God bless you and your family.

Your way has more crazy drivers than here. They scare me! Friends and family always want me to go to LA to pick them up at the airport because it's a cheaper flight. I make them pay more to come to Bakersfield. :D

Except when my grandson came back from Germany. I was too anxious to see him to wait. :) He had been gone so long.

With all my heart and every breath I pray that God keeps Baby Emma AND Dena in the palm of his hand. The battle Emma is fighting is hard but by the grace of God & the love from God and Dena, she will make it. Baby Emma is such a fighter and has such a will to live, please stop making it so hard for those of us who are trying so desperately to get her the help she needs. Her need is real, her condition is real, all the proof anyone needs is out there for the whole world to see. This, right here, right now, is about one baby who did not ask to be brought into this world with the conditions she has. All of the ugliness, hurtfulness and hatred ultimately only hurts Baby Emma. I beg of you, please stop.

Dena~You haven't given up your prayers for Nathan and I certainly will continue mine for Emma. Things happen in His time, not ours. Keep the faith, we're right here with you :).

good morning all. Hows our baby Emma this morning? Is she looking at the world yet? Cant wait. Jeez Im sorry there was another commotion last night, Sammiz, with Dena's ok, draft a letter and photo's lets send it out to all our news papers and radios, tv stations. Lets send it to all our Vets offices, and what about sending to some rescues? They have contacts. With as many of us that love Emma, and Dena were strong. You know strength in numbers. Dena, hang in there you have given alot of us something to look forward to each day and something to smile about, laugh about and of course cry. Linda

What a shame! Someone who has gone through SO much to try to discredit another...Try to do something nice today. Go visit friends, volunteer somewhere, go to an anger management class...

I just wanted to let you know that even though I did have concerns about donations on here I am not the one posting on the CNN site. Its not my concern if Emma receives donations there and I wouldnt want to hinder a qualified vet from maybe seeing her story and helping her. My only concern with donations was on put on here so any new people would see it an thats where I left it. I wish you good luck though I am too hoping a qualified surgeon sees Emmas story

I would never post the name of a "speculation".....for the very reason it could hurt the reputation of an innocent person, that is why I didn't say a name. I am just concerned about Emma and Dena and have their best interests at heart, just as most everyone in this thread. :)

Wow, so much has happened since last night! I'm glad the iReport is still up, or up again, or whatever! I gave all of Emma's links to my next door neighbor last night (she's been out of town since last Friday) because She has a female Chi as well and I'm sure she would totally get into this support system! :) Just know little Emma, we are all here to watch you grow and be strong, carry you when you are weak, and do everything we can to make life that much better for you! Keep going lil punkin butt! We LOVE YOU!:p

I keep seeing comments about Dena being a scam artist, blah blah blah. I have no idea what Dena may or may not have done in the past. Frankly it doesn't concern me. This is not about Dena, it's about Emma, and getting her the help that she needs.

If it were me I would certainly appreciate donations, but I would pay for her care whether she got the donations or not.

Dena has made a commitment to Emma, and has now helped Emma to survive for 11 days. What would you have her do, just let her lay there now and starve. her eyes will soon be open, she is beyond the point of semi consciousness, and can feel Dena"s warm loving hands caring for her. There is no going back now. So if the entire thing bothers you, just don't read the thread and then it won't upset you.

You must be a very angry person to be so focused on one thing that is truely bothering you. I really feel bad for you for harboring so much anger. May God reach down and touch your heart as Emma has touched so many of ours. For I believe that we are all creatures of God and each one of us has a purpose, even Emma.

Does anyone know of any surgerons who are experienced with this? I live in east Tennessee, and the University of Tennessee is know for their speciality with Liver Shunts. Is there another hospital that specializes in this? Maybe if there is we could write letters, send e-mails, call, and beg if needed to get this little girl noticed, and get someone to help her. Just a thought, I will help out in any way I can.

We have UC Davis, which is a Vet school out here in California, it would be nice to find something closer to Dena though.

I live in east Tennessee, too, about 17 miles from Knoxville and the UT Vet School. It's a teaching hospital and state-of-the-art. I don't know if they "specialize" in mouth surgery, but I would bet they would do a great job with this little girl. I hope someone sees her story and steps forward to take care of her problem.

Dena, I'm so sorry that i once again missed so much. but please know that Saki and myself are here to support what you've done and will be doing for Baby Emma.

It really seems like a shame that Dena has to use any of energy to defend herself, (I'm not going to quote dena's remarks anyone that has been following this knows what I am referring to.)She is probably tired enough without having to come on YT and do so. regardless of how this person feels about Dena she is obviously taken the best care of emma that she can. I am mostly just a reader and not to much of a poster, but it is tiresome to me as well expecting to see updates and have to read thru negative comments. I just wish it would all end and I hope to someday see video of emma happily running around and eating on her own.

Mizzu has a vet teaching school that is suppose to be very good- I will see if I can get info from them for Dena!!(Missouri University)

If it were me taking care of this baby - I would contact what I think is THE best animal rescue organization/sanctuary in the United States: Best Friends Animal Society. They take in some of the worst horror stories around - they took in Michael Vick's dogs and rehabilitated them, they take in animals w/ deformities and/or horrendous injuries and bring them to health.

I am SURE they would know of a surgeon or referral for you. And who knows, maybe they would even pay the surgeon directly for Emma's surgery - without you having to surrender Emma. I had PMd you about Best Friends previously, but never heard back. They truly are incredible.

I have to agree with you completely Chachi. :thumbup: I think that everyone wants to see the Emma get only the best in care. I have yet anything that would suggest otherwise.

sammiz made some very good points in a post earlier and requested that discussions of 'concerns' be dropped from this thread so that its focus be returned to baby Emma, which is exactly what happened. Now all of a sudden issues from another site have been drug over here and the finger of blame is being pointed at YT members!? :thumbdown I think at the point that people here are being accused of and blamed for what some nutter on another site is saying then it can be said that this situation has gotten way out of hand. I didn't think this thread should be closed either because so many did want to keep up w/ Emma's progress, but if the only thing that is going to be posted is a bunch of rants and outbursts and blaming other members for something, then maybe it should be. :(

I do not post much because of all the drama but i will say that posting crappy stuff on here is one thing but to do it on the CNN report you should be ashamed of yourselves.

I know where yall are getting at with the whole baby natalie thing. Im sorry if this offends you Dena but i must say it. With baby natalie we personally were giving donations blind. We could not see she was sick because it was on the inside. But i will say Rustys_mom (Angie) a beloved YT member did go see her and did confirm natalie was sick. I too had my doubts, not about natalie being sick mostly but just that after natalie passed Dena seemed like she had money. But with this baby you shouldnt even be questioning Dena. You can see the problems with Emma.

Maybe Dena shouldnt take on stuff like this if she doesnt have the money but she does and we would never turn down a different YTer for this. I would do the same thing that she is doing and im not rich either. There has been people on here a long time ago i remember that lost her dog and someone on YT gave her 2 puppies. I seen YT all form up and help this women maybe not through money but through flyers and ect. Did we actually know her dog was gone? im not questioning this person just proving a point.

I Do think at points we should be cautious but no one is going in blind on this one. IF the Cnn report does find someone to help Emma then Dena will have to hand over emma for them to fix her. So how is she fake? How are yall questioning her on this one?

Maybe Dena can give Beabble (sorry but your #1 fan) control of the paypal site so no money comes out except to help Emma. All she has to do is fax her papers of proof from the vet as to how much was needed and then beabble send her the money through paypal.

How can yall actually try to take Help away from Emma?

I did not say one thing offensive in here so if yall want to ban me then hop on it. I dont get on here that much anyways.
