sorry I hit the wrong button, what I started to say was I totally agree with your decision to wait for the special surgeon, even at the risk of hurting the others feelings. You have to follow your heart and your instinct. Hats off to you once again...L

I agree I think it is best to wait on the specialist too. It sounds lke they are considering her size as a factor also. I think you are doing the right thing

I think I would wait until she is actually walking around rather than shuffling and creeping so there is less of a chance for her to pull on stitches. Also when she is older they can give her anesthesia can't they?
Dena I know you hate the tube feeding but you are doing such a great job! Because of theat Emma doesn't absolutely have to have surgery right now. You are wonderful!

The blanket is done!!!! It turned out better than I could have imagined. I have come to figure out though is that it doubles as a blanket and a toy. You will understand when you see it. I am off to Fed Ex to get it shipped. I will PM you the tracking number so you can make sure you know when it is exactly coming.

Oh and another thing, you are going to want to wash it. I was going to do that for you but I figured you might be using something special to wash Emma's stuff. There's going to be loose fabric still on it from the cuts and Jack decided to sleep on the blankey as I was making it. I tried my hardest to keep him off but he just wouldn't stop. lol.

This website is a bit like Emma. It will be gaining weight daily. Although I want to work only on it, I have neglected my menu job and I will need to get those done and delivered within the next couple of days. Be patient with me. (I know you will).;)

Aweeee, it really is Christmas in August at your house isn't it?! LOL!!! Such sweet people here to give so much of themselves and their hearts, prayers, donations and everything for baby Emma.

Oh Dena, God hears even the faintest of prayers and cries for help. No matter how many views, how many prayers, I believe with all my heart he will bring Baby Emma through this.

Yes, it’s been quite a busy day,
I wiggled and I squirmed
Now I think it’s time to rest……
people will look in on me soon,
And I want to look my best.

Mommy cleans up all my messes
and feeds me with a tube
Then she smiles, and picks me up,
And holds me very near.

I heard I needed surgury..
My Mom said that it would be fine.
She said it wouldn’t hurt me,
Still, I couldn’t help but whine.

The Doctors scared me badly,
I was trembling with fear,
Then my Mom picked me up,
And whispered in my ear.

It may take a little while,
But I know I’ll quickly learn,
The Dogtors are here to help me
Their going to fix me up
when I get a little bigger
Ill be able to eat on my own
Mommy says I might even be ready for a
great big Doggy Bone.

I’m still a tiny puppy,
There’s lots that I don’t know.
But my kind and loving master,
Will teach me as I grow.

My eyes opend yesterday
and I saw my mommys face.

If she hadnt took me in
