Well, I see this making only a few happy. I am not one of them.

I feel like something has been taken away from me that I tremendously value. An opportunity to extend my hand to a fellow human being. I actually thought it was my choice. I see that I was wrong.

I think she has grown weary. I can understand. It takes a tremendous amount of energy to do what she has been doing.

I just went through several pages just looking for BOLD text to read an update about this little baby. That's ALL I care about! :)

does anyone know if we could still "peek in" and watch little Emma? I'm now addicted to her show!!

Im so happy to hear she alive and thriving. Please dont leave alot of us already have this little girl in our hearts and would love to support you both through all of this.

I don't blame Dena for not wanting to post in here now, and I think it's sad the accusations that were made. I think some of the posts made today were just flat out rude.

BY FAR...the majority of us are supporting both you and Emma. I have been following her progress hour by hour and it would be devastating to not be able to continue to do so. PLEASE...let those of us that support both you and Emma, to continue to do so. You are strong and have given little Emma a chance to survive.

All you say is true, but when you are tired, it's hard to slog through the mud. It is extremely hard. Drags you down.

Thats exactly right when things dont add up theres going to be people to question it. I dont know why questions about Emmas follow up medical care are met with such hostility. As Deb said I have also seen more concerned advice given when a dog has diahrea. Is there some other reason she isnt going back to vets?

I personally find all the "questions" quite irritating. This is Dena's dog for now. As long as she and God see fit. I have sat here and read all 49 pages and I see nothing that we should question. Dena got the vet care for little Emma and was quite happy that they wanted to see Emma in TWO weeks. I am sure that she is into this pup for all the time and money and heartach that she will continue to get anything necessary for this little gift form God.

I am a little shocked that some find it necessary to question Gods will at this point...if he was ready for little Emma to join him I am sure that he would have reached his hand down and done so....

No one is playing God here. A very kind and loving woman has taken it upon herself to try to save one little pup that would not have had a chance otherwise. Give the poor woman a break and quit second guessing everything. You know that saying: hindsight is 20/20. Maybe Dena would not have had the Vets try to fix her little muzzle if she had known how it would turn out..but who knew. She did what she thought was best.

Just from reading all the posts here, I can tell that Emma is in good hands, thriving and doing well.

Continue to support the efforts here and quit second guessing from 500 miles away! Let those that have their hands in it on a minute by minute basis make the decisions with out worrying "OMG!!! What would YT think"??

Get over it people...let Dena worry about the pup..not what we think..just give support for a change.

I hate that all these internet forms turn ugly all the time.

JUST GIVE COMPASSION AND SUPPORT. Or maybe share a good idea...something that worked for you.

I will miss seeing little Emma everyday as I have grown quite fond of her and enjoy watching her live stream and seeing you care for her. I would be grateful if from time to time you would post a brief note and picture to update those of us who care so much for her.

Dena there are many people here who like reading about the updates on Emma. I don't think not posting about her here is the answer. You should continue to post but just don't read the comments. Everyone here is interested in Emma's wellbeing.

Dena, I pray for Baby Emma daily to be made whole..have claimed this and believe it to be. I pray strength for yours and her heart to go thru this trying time. It is a great love that will give their all to nurture one of His angels, He will give you what you both need to see you thru. I look forward with great expectancy to reading about Emma's progress. Hold her close for the rest of us as we continue to lift you up on this end. I know of your heart and it's sincerity..follow it sweetie and don't look back. :)

Yes, you are absolutely right. Everyone here is an intelligent adult an capable of examining the situtation and making their own decision in regards to the situation. I completely agree with you on that point. :thumbup:

However, I think that people here--particularly newer members who may not be aware of previous situations--deserve the right to have ALL of the information possible in making that decision--particularly when it involves donating to a member in need. I don't think it's realistic to assume that everyone who reads this thread has a general knowledge of everything that has ever gone on in the past. I think it is the concern of many people that this thread is not the only one to be considered and that past events and details should maybe be taken into consideration as well and that it is their right to voice those concerns. I know that if I was a new member and the validity and details regarding a shockingly similar situation had been highly questioned by MANY in that past, I'd *hope* someone would clue me in on them and then from that point, let me make the decision on my own. I think that everyone deserves at least that.

If a new member came on here and informed everyone that they were considering getting a puppy from a breeder who YT members knew to be a horrific puppy miller, would it not be expected that they be given information on the person and then allowed to choose their own course of action? I would HOPE so.:( Or should they just be left in the dark?

I think alot of YTers feel they have a sort of 'responsibility' so to speak to look out for each other's best interest and question things if they feel that something sounds 'off.' I think that many long time members here just have a greater sense of awareness having seen other members taken advantage of and they don't want to see it happen again. (Is that a bad thing? I always thought it was one of the best aspects of YT, personally.) If they are wrong with their theories, then great--I think that truly they hope they are, but at least everyone was given the facts and the opportunity to decide for themselves.

I think that it is being misconstrued as people doubting the reality of Emma's condition and her fight, and I don't think that is the case. (Pictures don't lie, right?) I think that EVERYONE'S primary concern here is the health and well being and survival of that sweet little girl and I think that EVERYONE is pulling for her to make it through this. She SHOULD be the primary concern and it the most important thing at this moment and I am rooting for her too.

I was going to say the same thing. I'm wondering if she even bothers to read it anymore! Poor thing. As tired as she must be I would understand her feelings being hurt over and over. No one wants that!

Thank you for all of the updates you have given us thus far. I know this has been an up hill battle..... I've read all 50 pages. But you ARE doing a marvelous job. I hope the livecast is brought up again. I love watching her. I'm sorry all the arguing has caused you grief and you no longer feel like you can post here anymore. I sure hope to watch for updates on MySpace or something. Good luck to you and Emma and I am sending prayers up for you.

I understand that Dena doesn't want to post updates anymore- I really do, but I got kind of attached to little Emma from reading this thread and watching her on the live feed. Dena and I aren't personal friends so if anyone is friends with her and staying updated, and also knows me, would you mind giving me an update every now and then? I would really appreciate it and I will of course keep it to myself and off of the forum.

I've been a member on this board for about three years and conflict is nothing new. Everyone is entitled to their opinions, but if some of you people would put as much energy into speaking out about....child abuse or some other worldly cause as you have about this poor woman doing her very best with this sweet baby, the world would be a different place. Would you be expressing your opinions so freely if this were a human baby? For heaven's sake people, get a life. Dena is doing the very best she can with the information she has at this point.

Dena, I think I would do exactly the same things you are doing. Only you can know what is best for Emma because you are the only one with her. The rest of us are miles away.

I just want to add, since "past threads" have been mentioned a few times, I was one of the biggest skeptics when Dena first joined and I was pretty vocal about it. Not that I thought she was lying but thought we should all be careful since she was new and it does take a little while to feel like you know someone and build trust.

So, having made it apparent that I'm not the most trusting member we have, even I am confused about why there is so much suspicion in this situation. I'm not asking for explanations because I don't want to drag this thread down anymore. I just wanted to point out that I don't think the two situations are similar.

Well since its Bama that brought out the about the past donations she may be the only one to say why. There was a thread from Dena not too long ago where she was looking to buy a $7000 show dog so that may be why it is brought up too. I think Bama was most concerned with new people being asked to donate and not knowing the full story

Dena wanting to buy a $7,000 showdog has nothing to do with my wanting to donate toward Emma. That is a ridiculous statement.

Well ya know, when I recieve an unsolicited PM in my inbox that's being mass distributed behind the scenes urging people to make a donation, I feel like I have a right to speak up about how I feel.
