The dogtor yesterday said that Emma's lil' eye is now constricting almost normally... so the conclusion is that the atropine is what was causing that.

The right eye is a bit smaller than the other and she's still too little to get a full exam into the back of the eye, but evidently lots of pups have one eye smaller than the other and it causes no problems at all.... YAY!

She does have a bit of "dry eye" so we'll continue with the drops 5 times daily - but outside of that, she's doing great!

Glad to hear Emmas eye is doing better, I'll say prayers that it continues to improve. What a doll she is. Any luck with the bigger feeding tube yet?

Nope.... we're still back at the 5 fr ..... I hope Maggy is doing better today!!!

Awwww HI THERE fellow Okie!! We're in OKC too!!

There will be some strict requirements and concerns where placement of Emma is of interest..... and as COMPLETELY in love with her as I am, if I am able to find a home and family that will give her what I feel she needs and deserves - the plan is still to place her once she has come through all of her surgeries and treatment.

I just kinda' have some "issues" that I haven't yet resolved.... and committing to another tiny lil' girl has been a little tough for me just now.... but we'll see what the future holds.

What a happy little girl she is Dena.
Emma is growing nicely and certainly looks very happy and
pleased with life. Yayyyyy for you Dena. The Miracle Worker that
you are. I can't imagine you ever parting with her.
I think Emma is there to stay.

None, zero, zip.... after the first couple of updates, they did respond back... and I really appreciate that, because I got to see Emma's mom, dad and littermate... but then that was it....

Not sure what happened, but they don't respond to any of my contacts these days.
