Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | How do you know which frames to buy? Just try to find ones that you think look close to ones you already have?

| Thanks! I'll show this to my husband. The prices on that website is all they should cost, pieces of plastic or wire that they are. |

| i have two zenni pairs, which are excellent. i've worn my contacts for ~20 yrs and hated glasses with a passion (i'm very nearsighted). only since getting my zenni glasses have i worn glasses in public by choice. i always get compliments and don't have a headache going back and forth from contacts to glasses so i know they got the power right. wily's mom, the most important thing to have measurement-wise, besides your script, is your pupillary distance, which many opticians will just measure for free. i actually just called up the place that made my old glasses for this measurement. (p.d. is the distance between your pupils.) i would not measure pupillary distance myself like it says on the site b/c it's really important for it to be precise. i measured my old glasses in mm to know exactly what size frames/lenses i should look at. one caveat is that if you search the net you'll see a number of negative reviews for zenni. definitely assess the cost-benefits to your specific situation. as a student, it was a no-lose situation for me to spend $16 to try them, when i was told that glasses at my old store would have been $394 at the lowest, which I could not afford another site with slightly higher prices, better customer service and reviews, is 39dollarglasses.com. i LOVE that site because you can pick out a face shape that's close to yours and actually see what the glasses look like on male and female models with your face shape. :thumbup

| Am I the only one that is having problems loading the site? I'm legally blind, and can't drive, with no insurance. I was born with cataracts, and had to have my lenses removed when I was 16 weeks old. With corrrective vision my eyesight is 20/50 in my good eye, and 20/200 in my bad eye, which is my left eye, and is also the eye I have glaucoma in. I can't afford my eyedrops, so I self-medicate with marijuana (please don't judge me, it's WAY cheaper, and my friend won't rip me off like the pharmacutical [sp] company will) instead. I only use enough to get my pressure down so I don't go blind, and it doesn't really effect me other than that anyway, so it's win win I guess. My eye doctr, who I have gone and seen every month since I was born says he doesn't blame me either. The fact that glasses and contacts are so overpriced is sad, especially when I need them. I wear contacts to correct my vision, my perscription is like a +8.00 in my good eye and a +10.00 in my bad eye, and those are pretty cheap, but glasses for me run like 300 dollars and up. Insurance won't cover it, which doesn't matter, because I lost my inssurance last year and nobody else will take me. What a country we live in. Without my eye drops, I'll go blind and the government won't help me out, but they will surely arrest me for marijuana possesion. $280 for a 30 day supply for one drop, and $90 every fifteen days for the other, sorry, I would rather have running water. I have to choose between risking my future to go to jail, spending all my money on drops that shouldn't cost that much, or going blind. I don't know which is the lesser evil. Anyway, I know it was a long post, but the point is, this would be wonderful. If I could find a perscription to wear over my contacts, I might be able to drive! I would have independence for once in my life. But I can't get the darn page to load. It says done and it's completely blank. Just my luck! My ex-insurance company must be watching. :/ 300 dollars for glasses right now would make me have to starve for the month, haha. Especially with gas the way it is. If anyone else is having the loading problem, though, and figured out a solution, I would LOVE to see this page.

| I refreshed and it worked for a minute. GAAH! And I saw some REALLY cute pairs. I'm into plastic frames, my boyfriend bought me a pair of Versace frames from LensCrafters for $350 and someone STOLE them. But the joke's on them, 'cause they definately won't be able to see through them. I will probably try again tomorrow, I loved the frames I saw. Thank you SO much for posting this, it's a blessing for me.

| This is great I need new glasses but have been putting off getting them due to the cost. I need ones for driving, plus sunglasses and also for my computer work so a few separate pairs can get quite expensive ....I am definately going to check into ordering from this site... for sharing this site.
