DON'T CLEAN UP AFTER YOUR MEN! Let them clean up their own hair out of the sink from shaving. Live in squalor for a little while until they realize all that you have done for them in the past. You can put up with it for little while and they'll learn that the house doesn't clean itself.

Kristy, believe me, if I didn't have kids, I wouldn't clean up after them. I'm just afraid that one of my kids will catch something that will rot their arm or legs off. I've gone on strike before and when he finally decided to clean, I had to also and WHAT A CHORE!!! It took forever to get the house back to order again.

I hear you! I have gone on strike before too. You know what I found out? My husband is a slob and he is most comfortable living that way.

The good thing I have to give him though, is I have a friend who's husband comes home every day and complains to her that she didn't clean the house good enough or have dinner fixed on time. My husband could care less if the dishes were done ,and if dinner ain't fixed, he fixes himself a sandwich. (See how I have to rationalize to stick around here? ) That's the only good point I'll give him though.
