Home from Vegas and PI$$ED!!! So, we made it home today from Vegas. Lost money, but bought lots of clothes and a new Coach purse. N-E-WAY, I called my hubby 2 days ago and told him we were on the way. I told him my house better be clean because I didn't want to come home to a dirty house. I cleaned it right before I left. So, I get home...mind you, we drove 1600 miles one way...3200 round trip without using the air conditioner...parents didn't want to burn up the engine. But I walk in and the house was picked up but was still a mess...floors hadn't been done, laundry to do, kitchen to clean...etc. I was FURIOUS!!!!! I asked him to please vaccum the floors and he tells me, "Your vaccum won't work." I check it out and DUH!!! It was clogged. I had it fixed in less than 5 minutes!!! On top of that, I left Chester and Rebel home with my husband. They ate one of my plants, hadn't had a bath so they stunk. They had eye boogies all over their face, poopie stuck to their butt hair and MATS in their hair!!!! I COULDN'T BELIEVE THAT HE DID THIS!!! I take care of my babies better than I take care of myself!!! I had told him repeatedly to PLEASE brush my dogs and to take care of them!!!!! He told me that he would!!!!! I just wanted to pack an overnite bag and stay at a hotel. I don't understand him AT ALL!!!! Then, he/we bought his friend and his wife a 1 year anniversary gift. The witch sent a thank you note addressed to...MY HUSBAND!!! My name was no where on the envelope OR the card!!!! HOW TACKY IS THAT!!!! My dumb husband should have thrown it away. He knew that I would have been MAD!!!! I told him that "THE BIT** CAN KISS MY ASS!!!!" It's times like these that I just want to give up. Just take my kids and dogs and GO AWAY. Talking to him does no good. Thanks for letting me vent. I was SO looking forward to coming home...absence makes the heart grow fonder...YEAH, RIGHT!!!! |
take a deep breath and know that husbands are stupid they are dorks they cant help it. Its just part of life mine has ways of ticking me off i didnt even know possible. Sleep on it maybe it will be better tomorrow. Sorry he sucks |

Oh Kim! I'm so sorry you came home to all of that! When we got back from vacation after 12 days, our son had let Lexy get all matted. I was so mad because I work on that hair everyday. His excuse was she snaps and bites at the comb! Well...duh! She has to learn that this is happening everyday. So now of course I'm the bad guy who does this to her and hubby and son just love on her! We mothers are a sorry lot, huh? |
I know the feeling. I live with my boyfriend and once when my Merlot was sick (he ate chocolate muffins) I asked him to please keep an eye on him while I went to work. He basically refused because he was tired, so I had to sneak Merlot to my office and keep him with me. I work overnight, so you can imagine the night we had. Sometimes I don't think they understand what our fur babies mean to us! |
OMG, you should hear my fiance...... he is under the ussumption that just because i am on vacation, i can clean the house EVERY DAY.... he leaves dishes out, he gets a new glass EVERY time he gets a drink, he doesnt even clean up after HIS cat GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR........ IM ON VACATION AND I HAVE TO CLEAN THE HOUSE LITERALLY EVERY DAY |
i am so sorry and hope you have a better week :) |
Im so sorry you came back from your vacation to a messy house and your little one dirty and matted. I agreed take a breather and remember some husbands dont see things our way. Leave the house a mess and make him help you clean it up tomorrow after you have rested. Better yet, supervise while he cleans. |
I've pretty much gotten the messes cleaned up. But he WILL be ironing his own clothes this week!!! |
husbands can take us for granted sometimes, but take your smoke break, calm down, then address him. me and my hubby rarely argue but when we do booy is it bad. i know it can get sooo frustrating when you have trust in your hubby and then he lets you down. but i think you should talk to him about it and let him know how you feel, once you've calmed down. i think with you being this angry, the outcome won't be a good one. i hope you guys can work it out. ;) |
First of all...WELCOME BACK!!! Sorry you came home to all that, but hope you had fun on your get-away! Some husbands are just impossible and I can sympathize with you there! The person who sent the thank you note addressed only to your husband...shame on her! Guess you need not worry about ever buying them another gift! Hope things look better tomorrow after a good nights sleep...that is...IF you can sleep. When I am upset like that, it always turns into a sleepless night! I hope things get better for you! Best wishes! |
oy! I would be pissed too if I saw that thank you note without my name on it. Welcome back from your vacation!!! Sorry you had to come home to that mess. I know it gets frustrating but I guess it only shows how much everything wouldn't be so right without you there. :) I hope you feel better. |
You need a big hug right now. At least you can count on that part from your little furbabies! :p After you get relaxed a bit, take some acetamenophen or something so you can relax enough to sleep. OK? ;) |
So sorry for the mess you came home too. yha men are like the worst ones to try and tell to keep the house clean, I stay at home with my son at this moment (but I babysit) and he acts like well you dont work so why dont you clean everyday I said what is the purpose when you get home from work it dont even look like I have cleaned (which I clean everyday) .. OH and when it comes to the dogs he is always telling me that I love on them more than I do him..(true but I try and he just moves to the other sofa so stuff him.) And almost every night he sleeps in the guest room cause he says the dogs take up half of the bed not even so If anything they are sleeping on me.. so men just dont understand any thing but Sports and there buddys !!!!! I say someone is sleeping out back in the dog house tonight. ;) And another thing just be glad you came back to a home. I would never leave mine alone for 2 weeks with the house much less my furbabies and our son... It would be a dump and I would go stay at a hotel with the kids and furbabies and tell him that I will be back tomorrow and the house better be clean... They dont realize how hard it is to keep a clean home and take care of the kids(& furkids) and really do under estimate there wifes. so again I am sorry for what you had to come home to, like everyone else said take a vent and sleep on it.. And make him help you clean tomorrow. But its nice to have you back on yt. Ps- Koda has gotten so big... |
my husband and i are the same way. he's an army recruiter and works long hours and i have 2 kids 1 and 4 and boy are they a handful, its hard to keep track of them much less the house so oon weekends when i make my husband help me clean he gets mad and asks why he has to help if he works and all i do is stay home and watch tv. but what he doesnt realize is that durring the week when he's working he comes home to a spotless home and dinner waiting on the table. i wonder who cleans and has dinner ready when he comes home. apparently not me. all i do is watch tv all day. men suck!!! but what can we say nothing cause nothing gets into that thick head of theirs. Im sure you'll feel better tomorrow. oh by the way this is totally off subject but seh0422 what part of san antonio are you from |
