I notice a few of the people who are avid about a certain location and keep commenting saying the same things about wanting it in the same location are people FROM the location they're requesting. In my opinion, that's not really thinking about others but only thinking about yourself. Just something I noticed. I mean of course that would be convenient to you but it may not be to other people and it doesn't have to be said over and over again as it was seen the first time. |

East Coast won't be fair to West Coast and West Coast is not fair to East Coast and it seems the middle is too flippin hot. So here's the scoop!! Party at my house, come on down. I'll fit as many as I can and the overflow can spill over to the local hotels :) Seriously though, if ever need be there's always a meal and a bed at my house for anyone passing through. :) |

The reason I think that only donating members should make decisions and plan the meetup is because the donating members are the ones who have made a commitment to help this site remain open. If it is a YT meet-up then those who help support YT should be the ones in the decision making position. It is hard for me to believe that most of the poeple here couldn't scrape and save $25.00 for a once in a lifetime donation to help support this site. It would be doubtful that those who cannot afford a donation to YT would be able to make the trip. |
