| Lori I'm sending lots of good luck wishes your way! Working at a vet sounds so fun!

| I don't blame you for wanting to find something that you like...... and I know what it is like to work weekends..... YUCK! Best of Luck finding a new job.... if that particular vets office don't work out (but I really think that you would have a good chance) you could always try another vets office. ....... I wish, too, that I could find something different (more "girly"), but I have got almost 20 years at my job and in a little more than 5 years I can retire...... so... I have to hang in there. Again....

![]() ![]() Make sure you find out the pay and hours working the desk at a vets - in some offices the pay is very low - I know cause I looked into it. These days we have to maximize our pay because the cost of living just SUCKS - every freaking thing is skyrocketing - I just heard our Electricity is jumping too - which on top of gas - food and utilities - MAN it's HARD to make ends meet if you don't make really good money. I hardly eat because I just don't make enough to have anything left over to save... you need to see if it's worth it to work vs GETTING to work...and I hope you land something you can be happy with. GOOD luck - I'm sorry they did this - that just isn't right. I'd be pissed too.

| Thank you everyone ![]() I hope to find a job here in town that way I don't have the commute in to town everyday. Right now it is about 50 miles and day. If I was to get a job in town here. it would be less than 2 miles ![]() So I am willing to take a pay cut so I don't have to pay that gas bill. |

I hear you about the food. I just got back from Wal Mart to get food for at least three weeks. I could only spend about $40.00. Geez, it bought hardly anything. Good thing tuna is cheap still. ![]() Lori - that would be great if you could get something in town. 50 miles a day really eats up the gas. Do you get good mileage in your vehicle? | |
