OOOOKKKK!! I have an update!! My boss just put in her two weeks!! Can you believe that?!?! I'm in total shock here!! She is moving to New York to be an executive at her Brother in Law's foundation....did I mention who her BIL is?! He is Joe Torre....lol She is sooo lucky....I wish my sister would have married somebody famous lol. so now i'm worried about who my new boss will be....I hope its somebody I like....most likely we will hire internally, and i'm not sure too many people will want her job it is highly stressful and with way too much to do most of the time. So who knows, I guess i'll find out. Wish me luck everyone!! I'm going to need it!!

OMGosh! her bil is JOE TORRE!? that is SO cool!!

Best of luck with your new boss! Maybe it'll be someone totally amazingly awesome!

MeganS: I know I was totally shocked when I found out who her BIL was too....I found out not even a year ago and I've been here for two years....I'm always in the dark about stuff. Thanks for the good luck wishes....I hope I get a cool boss, I'm keeping my fingers crossed!!

Yorkieforme: lol I only wish I was going to get a promotion lol....It would be nice but not gonna happen....but with a new boss there will be better chance for advancement lol so who knows what will happen.

Boy, can I sympathize. I've been an admin for 29 years. There have been good and bad bosses over the years (and a couple that were downright toxic!), but people come and go. Depends on how much crap you can stand and whether you think that person will stay or just move on in a few years.

Lately, though, I'm thinking I've done this long enough and maybe I should go back to school. Still have some thinking to do and have to talk to DH first, but I could probably hack a few more years if there were something more interesting to do; I've kind of hit a ceiling where I am.
