| ![]() When I had sciatica, pinched my sciatic nerve, my lower right back would hurt and I would have shooting pains from my hip all the way down to my leg to my toes. kind of a lightening, electric shock type feeling. VERY painful to say the least. They would come out of nowhare when I was walking or standing and I would lose all control and use of my leg till they stopped. Chiropracters are great ![]() |

| ![]() I had a pinched nerve on my L4, L5 & S1 with a herniated disc. I went to a chiropractor and he said I was to far gone and suggested surgery. The pain would start on my hip and work down my leg to my foot. I would get horrible craps on my leg like it was on fire. I couldn't lay flat on my back either because that would aggreviate it. A year of spinal blocks and bottles of vicodin later I had the surgery and I still have nerve damage on my foot but I walk fine. ![]()

| ![]() Does it also feel sometimes hot or icy ? I have that too, specialy if i am on my feet for a while, and the skin when i touch feels weird. My Dr pointed to my hip on the front and said that a nerve is pinched and there realy is not anything he can do. If you find out diffrent let me know. It hurts at times too. Mine is on my right side, got a diffrent problem on my left lower back, and if i do too much i am in agony for days. Cant function without my heating pad. I had this for yrs now, and about ready to go back in to demand some good pain meds to function. just go to Dr and find out whats going on , maybe they can help you, i waited too long !

| ![]() Ok ladies.........3 years ago I had my surgery I also had no insurance. I went to the ER I don't know how many times, I did the spinal bock the maximum allowed. My Mom told me oh no you can become crippled wheel chair bound. So the year after she passed I couldn't even stand for more than 10 minutes at a time and I was walking into the ER for the last time with an old persons walker. The best thing I did was have that surgery. I recooped in two weeks and went from taking 8 vicodin a day to none. Sometimes I still get muscle cramps and my little toe is numb but if you are getting worse I highly recommend it. Oh and of course the first thing your Dr. is going to say is to lose weight! Oh and the surgeon said it was the worst strangulation of a nerve that he had ever seen.

| ![]() Missy, is because of your work? you said you've had this for about 7 months.. isn't that when you started working with the lady? could it be possible you strained your body too much?

It all started one evening when I went out dancing, I danced for 3 or more hours and when I got home I could hardly even lay on my side. I have been having hubby massage my lower back and hip and been putting like icy hot on it, but still nothing seems to help it. ![]() | |
