Ok ladies.........3 years ago I had my surgery I also had no insurance. I went to the ER I don't know how many times, I did the spinal bock the maximum allowed. My Mom told me oh no you can become crippled wheel chair bound. So the year after she passed I couldn't even stand for more than 10 minutes at a time and I was walking into the ER for the last time with an old persons walker.
The best thing I did was have that surgery. I recooped in two weeks and went from taking 8 vicodin a day to none. Sometimes I still get muscle cramps and my little toe is numb but if you are getting worse I highly recommend it. Oh and of course the first thing your Dr. is going to say is to lose weight!
Oh and the surgeon said it was the worst strangulation of a nerve that he had ever seen.
