| Oh wow! Your dad is very talented! I like everything, but the sun mosaic table just blows me away. There is so much detail there. His painting is just as wonderful. Thank you so much for letting us see these. Please tell him how much we admire his work.

Donating YT 1000 Club Member | I will tell him, he just turned 73 and has always done painting and crafting as a hobby, now he has the time, it keeps him entertained, out of the kitchen, and the extra money always comes in handy. The mosaic he stopped doing since the pieces were very heavy,he sold quite a few on line, but what he really loves is painting. He will be helping with my backyard project, I just don't know what to do yet.

| When I am trying to come up with an idea I approach it in several different ways -what do my materials say to me? (what the colors and shapes look like to me) -I think of the theme or feeling I want to create -I look at the space and see if it inspires any ideas Whatever you make will be beautiful. You better share photos with us!

Donating YT 1000 Club Member | Is raining now, so I can't go outside, but I want to post a picture of the wall I want to work on, I wanted to do something like an open window, looking out and some wisteria(I love those), or maybe some tropical plants, of course the sea in the back, but I know if I make it to complicated, I will never do it,with the colors of our house, sun flowers will go great,I have yellow, orange, browns, and some copper tiles that are beautiful,so I can work with that, I just don't want to start buying, I want to finish with what I have.If any of you can come up with pictures or suggestions, pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeese feel free to send them to me!!!

| It sounds to me like you're doing fine. All of those ideas sound beautiful and meaningful for you. If you love it, you will finish it. Make it yours! One note...You can always start small in the center with your main focal point and then add on around that. Then, it looks beautiful at every stage and if you run out of one kind of tile, it won't throw you too much.
