| I am afraid of flying. I really don't like it...I don't worry about crashing too much, but I worry about bad weather! I haven't flown in 10 years. I also don't want to ever go on a cruise. Too far from land for me, thank you very much. I am a land-bound control freak!!

| I have always wanted to take flying lessons but never have. I am in awe while in a small plane so close to the clouds. Commercial is another thing. Last flight to Fl. to visit my son and family with Southwest coach and we were packed in like animals. That I don't enjoy.

| All of this talk about planes makes me think of Ron White (the comedian) and his stand up comedy joke about planes....I think it is called "Plane Crash"....which of course, is no laughing matter but his joke telling is hysterical. Have any of you heard it? Check it out on iTunes or Amazon if you want....I think it is on the cd called Drunk in Public. It might not be funny to everyone but I sure enjoy his comedy.

| I am a flight attendant so, I have a love/hate relationship with flying!!! I've been flying for 18 years so some days I wish that I just stayed home!! Especially in the winter when I have to fly to Chicago!! I still am amazed also that we can get that big heavy metal tube into the air!!

| Once when I was on vacation (many years ago), I was able to go up in a helicopter (a M.A.S.H. type) and there were no doors on the sides. I was ecstatic! I was leaning out looking everywhere. However, my friend, who was seated in the middle became so freaked out we had to land. I was so mad at her for that. LOL I was having a blast! |

| I know it is too expensive! I can only convince my husband it's worth it for long flights and unfortunately the short flight from FL to NC that my daughter and I will be taking next doesn't qualify. I tried the old "I know you want only the best for your girls" routine and got a huge eye roll.

Lol I can totally understand what your saying as I have motion sickness too since I was a kid. The first time I flew was when I was 19 years old and I didn't know better..we were travelling in a group so I had my friends beside and in the row behind me so I keep turning to the back to talk to them and then turn back to the front repeatedly. I end up throwing up lol. Now I sit still and not move too much especially when the plane is departing and landing. I still have bad motion sickness when it comes to travelling by car/van whatever...if the windows are not down, I'd probably end up throwing up after 30 minutes.

That was so cute. Especially the eye roll! LOL You have to be creative about these things. It Should have had a more positive outcome, though. | |

Yeah I'm not done yet. Honestly even I have to admit it isn't worth it for the short flight... but I'm not happy about it!

Donating YT 7000 Club Member | I LOVE flying. Well, not so much flying as the landing and take off. I just love the feeling...it's so cool. Unless its a really clear day, in which case I love looking out the window. I even have fun in coach! Though one time I went to Disney World with my best friend and her aunt and uncle, and as a suprise her uncle got us first-class tickets for the ride home...THAT was awesome. I've only flown a handful of times, but I wish I could do it more. My dream is to ride in a hot air balloon! OMG that would be amazing. I am most nervous when I'm sitting in the airport. I'm very concious of the people around me. But when I'm in the plane, I am good to go. I like turbulance too, as long as its not too hard. For some reason I find bouncing around fun (some people think I'm really weird).
