Yes I agree....it will be GREAT for an "everyday" quick sweep/vacuum over the floors

Of course, there will still be mopping, etc., but just for everyday quick clean up (to get little pieces of whatever that are on the floor here and there) I think it will be great

I will be sure and post pics of it all after it is installed

Wow, I can see why you are having a hard time!
They are both really nice. I think the dark can be stunning giving the right mix of colors and accents in the house, but I'm probably leaning a little more towards the light!

Well I'm a little confused, LOL. Mine is blue, BUT, I don't think it has 3 speeds

Mind you, I just bought it last night so maybe it is on there and I just haven't figured it out yet lol, but I honestly don't think it has adjustable speeds. I believe it is the second one on the page - just the Shark Cordless Sweeper. I got mine at Wally World (Wal-Mart lol) and it was only $29 bucks there

Works like a CHARM!

We actually ordered it this morning and it will be here on Friday...they are coming to install it either Monday or Tuesday - WOOHOO!

I am sooo excited! Actually though, we did end up going with the dark

Mine is very similar, only it is more of a blue than teal....it really does work great though!

Brooke I don't know if you have ever seen this Bissell product but it is great. You vacuum wood floors with it, then flip is over and wash and dry with the other. It even heats so if there are sticky things that need to come up more easily.

When you were looking at floors, did you happen to check into the vinyl? I have heard WONDERFUL things about them. Water cannot damage them and they do not scratch like real wood does and they are also much easier to keep. These are all the reasons why I decided to go with vinyl instead of real hardwood

In person, they really do look (they have the "grooves" in them) and feel like real hardwood...they are just so pretty!

Vinyl planks, huh? Wow, this sounds very interesting. Iknow those new vinyl floors are really nice. WE just got real wood downstairs (replaced laminate with real wood when it was flooded. I'll attach before and after pics that shows we changed our baseboards to eliminate the quarter round.)

But I'd be very very interested in getting wood-look vinyl in my master bathroom. I don't want to put wood in there because of the water. I can't wait to see your pics when its all done.

It's hardwood and beautiful. The thicker one we couldn't get because the foundation to our floors are cement, and the thick wood has to be nailed down, but you can't tell the difference in the color, so that's a plus. We did a LOT of research on flooring before deciding on real wood. We talked to four people who have laminate and all said they regretted getting it because it tracks so bad and it makes a tacking sound when walking on it.
If you do go with a dark floor, you may want to paint your walls white.
Anyway this is the name and color we chose: Company is called Bruce. Name is Springdale model # EB526, Butterscotch. It's so warm and cozy looking but not dark. It's a special order so we were told today it will be here in two weeks.

I can send you pictures after it's installed if you would like?

It takes me forever to decide when we change something. So I would say the dark one, but then again the other sounds great also. Let us know what you get, can't wait for pictures. I have been wanting some hardwood for the basement in my hobby room. We are still trying to decide what to put down there. Good Luck with the pick.
