| Every where I go ...Free Kittens I can't turn around without tripping over someone giving away free kittens lately. I started thinking. Have you ever noticed how kittens are always free. I paid an arm and a leg for my Yorkies, I even gave several hundred for my Schnauzer, but kittens it's like how many do you want...How many can you take off my hands...they are free!!!! I have had 3 cats in my lifetime and they were all FREE!

| I see lots of signs when I'm driving for free kittens. Someone dropped off a pregnant cat that my son found in the woods behind our house several years ago. We posted signs everywhere, did everything we could to find her owners, but no one ever claimed her. So, we took care of her and helped her deliver her babies. When they were old enough, I did give them away, but I made sure they all went to good homes. We still see all of them from time to time because they all went to people we know.

| My cats sure weren't free It's kitten season...LOTS of kittens are born at this time of year so they're everywhere. Shelters are overcrowded and irresponsible pet owners have to find someone to take their kittens off their hands. I always say there is never truly a FREE pet..they'll always cost you something...vet bills, food, etc LOL.

| It seems liks its the "free" ones that always end up costing you more in the end! I had a "free" kitten when I was younger..we spent hundreds of dollars to keep that thing alive.

Donating Senior Yorkie Talker | Spring time Sales Apparently I was told by Petsmart that Spring is a HOT time for babies of all kinds, including kittens. I got all three of mine from my mother in law for free. I actually have thought about adopting one from PetSmart, even though it's $100.00 they're spayed /nuetered, shots etc. Thats worth the fee, I think. I just wish people would just not leave them in the road or in a box in a parking lot. I see that all the time ( I live in the country) It's not fair or humane to just leave the.

One is Black with a chocolate tint in the sunlight. The other is blonde. Very friendly and playful dogs. Have had all their shots. Also have a huge dog house that I would let go for pretty cheap Puppies must go in need of good home-free Jack Russel-free Free To a good home, a 1 yr old Female Chihuahua-up to date on shots and worming Male poodle-free in need of good home Cocker Spaniel/Shihtzu Puppy-free needs a good home 1/2 Pug 1/2 Boston Puppy-free There was a woman who was selling a yorkie mixed with a dachshund/shih tzu and chihuahua and it was planned. I answered the ad because it originally said yorkie puppies, and she told me they are registered with CKC and I can breed which ever sex I choose if I want. . Well I didn't get that puppy and a couple weeks after she posted it online for $550.00 two months later nobody bought it so she dropped the price to 100.00 but $135.00 with clothes & crate. Couple of months later she posted free female yorkie mix puppy will be great for breeding

| People need to realize how dangerous it is to advertise free animals. All kinds of terrible people search the classifieds for FREE animals. Dog fighters get them to use as bait for their pitt bulls, research labs get them for animal testing, sick people get them to torture, etc. Never advertise a free animal

People say there just Cat's & these poor cat's suffer in the end. | |

Peeka Boo I See You! Donating Member | It is sad that there are so many and it's kitten season as i call it right now One year in Feb i decided i wanted a kitten for valentines lol OMG i tell you we couldnot find a damn kitten to save our lives We finally found one in a shelter paid $85 to adopt and then $200 in supplies lol. I loved him dearly but he passed last October with cancer he was only 5 years old I miss him so much. Not long after we got him we were walking out of Walmart and these 2 girls were giving away free kittens well i walked right past and kept going and hubby stopped got one and said aww look i was like umm NO TAKE IT BACK we don't need more lol. Well wouldn't you know it those girls scrammed like lightning so we brought the kitten home and he has been here every since lol.

| It's very sad. I see so many kittens (both free and fosters from animal shelters and rescue groups) on Craigslist. I rescued one last year (from an animal shelter via a foster) and wish I had room to do the same every year.

| I never see an ad for free kitties. If I had a kittie, it would have to be one that has no hair. My husband is so allergic. |
