| Patti that is a beautiful afghan!!...I think that what you have done is becoming a lost art....you are very talented and you should be very proud of it! My Grandmother could do that kind of thing also, I wish I would have taken advantage of her knowledge and had her show me some of her talents.....She would take verses from the Bible and knit them into very big wall hangings....they where beautiful!

|  The blanket is beautiful! I am a crocheter also but I have not made anything as darling as your blanket. I can see all the hard work and detail that you put into it. A lot of work. You should be very happy and proud with your work.

| How absolutely beautiful! That's a LOT of work! I crochet, but mine is just basic, simple stuff. I wish I knew how to follow crochet instructions! I'd love to make something like that!

| You have so much patience!!!! I hate motifs! They never come out the same size. The roses are so pretty mine would not have come out as nice. The afghan is beautiful I am so impressed that you designed it yourself!!!

| Our Blessings R Many Donating Member  | Thanks Everyone Jack had a quiet but nice birthday and he said to thank you all for the Happy Birthday Greetings. Since I wasn't able to do baking this year he got a store bought cake but he enjoyed it and blew out ALLLLLLLLLL the candles  I do believe the time has come for me to pack up my much used knitting and crocheting needles and give them to our daughter. Thanks for the compliments on the rose afghan. I am adding the following yellow/pink and rose afghan I crocheted for our daughter Jackie, long time ago Wishing you all a wonderful evening. | That is just so beautiful. My Grandma crocheted us all afghans before she died. She even got most of the great grandkids in. All my life, we always called her afghans "magic afghans". It didn't matter how sick you were or tired you were or sad you were. All you had to do was lay under one of Grandma's afghans and you would feel better. The love that goes into making afghans makes them magic. Seriously.
