| I totally agree on that. I used to grow up thinking I will get married and have a kid but then once I am all grown up, somewhere along the way, my mind changed. I got married, and out of expectation, I moved to Canada, 9148 miles away from my family. After I got married, I discovered I do not have maternal instinct but I do mother my furkid lol and I have loved dogs since I was young but when it comes to a real kid, I can only last about an hour before I feel worn out. Maybe I am just not made for mothering human kids.

| never wanted children i knew from the time i was 12 that i never wanted children. i used to feel guilty about it - everyone would say "when they're yours, it's different". am i glad i didn't listen to anyone. i explained to my husband when we first met that i didn't want children and he couldn't care less. in fact, he has even less patience with our nieces and nephews than i do and is thankful that we didn't have kids "just to have kids". our pups are our children and the unconditional love they give is more than enough for us. we never get cursed at, talked back to, and of course don't have to pay for college! i love our nieces and nephews (all 7 of them) but am glad i get to go home to my house full of yorkies! |

| Maybe we all need to get together and start a club just like the "Pink Club", the "Gentleman's club" and all the other clubs here on YT we can name ours the "The fur kids fan club" or "No Kidding club", I'm just crazy, for all of us who do not want to have skin kids, but fur kids. Whatcha think?

| Brats is a relatively nice term. I can think of so many other words to describe my nieces -- but of course I still love them. I just don't want to spend more than a few hours with them. Don't get me wrong, after 3 hours of frisbee in the yard with the pups, I can't wait to have a little quiet time, too. I like the "No Kidding Club" name. Sign me up! |
