| our family experienced a GREAT loss this morning!!! I am so sad. We had a MAJOR loss in the family today we enjoyed each other every morning...and the occasional evenings. We really do have some great memories together. I am truly heart broken it's my coffee maker. yep...it died. it has been sick for some time...but this morning, I just can't seem to revive it. This coffee maker came to me in a very funny way. well, funny to me. For my bridal shower, my mother in law decided NOT to shop from my registry...and instead bought me over $300 worth of plates....with ROOSTERS on them. Now...to each his own....but she has been to my house many times and knows that we do not have ANYTHING like that. nothing at all. so we kindly accepted, then took them back to Williams Sonoma and got a $317 credit to use there. We bought a nice coffee maker, a nice bread box, a submersible blender, and a few knick knacks. we made out quite nicely actually the last couple of months, the coffee maker has been shutting off a lot...kinda like it is shorting out. the company told us that we just need to clean it with vinegar. well, we did that...as we do all the time anyway...and it still was crapping the bed. it is still under warranty, so we called again and they want us to pay $10 for shipping a new one to us, plus pay to ship the old one to them via ups. well...we have decided to wait until it is completely dead...and I woke up this morning to a completely dead coffee maker. R.I.P. my friend!!!! 20226_285.jpg

| Soooooo sorry for your loss Mandee Boy, that coffee maker must not have had a very long life -- I would recommend a different kind as a replacement ..... but don't ask me what kind, because I don't drink coffee

| I'm so sorry for your loss, I hope you are able to get through this hard time, and that you will be able to make it through your mornings, but if you can't I want to recommend to you my friend called Redbull, well after you have your baby though! Did you guys have a warranty, that's an expensive coffee maker, I would see if the store you bought it from or the manufacturer can offer any replacement.

| Geeze....sorry for your loss....it sure didn't last very long! We've got a Krups coffee/espresso/cappuccino machine that we've had for 8 yrs and haven't had a problem with it ever. I use it almost everyday and use the espresso/steamer probably once or twice a week. I was actually looking at some of the coffee makers at W/S b/c I'd like to get a stainless one instead of the black that we've got now...maybe I'll just wait til this one dies, LOL.

| Here's a picture of the one we've got~ or it's similar anyway....I never really thought about it, but I guess it's been a really good little coffee maker. I don't think I realized how long we've had it til now! I'm still wanting the stainless model though

| See sometimes losses are Good Things! I am hopeing my coffee maker will croak soon! I have already told my husband I want a Keurig! We have one at work and my sister has one. You can make one cup at a time and that would be great because I am the only one that drinks coffee! keurig makes these lil K-cups filled with coffee or tea. Newman makes organic coffee that I like. There is a Kona coffee yum and I cant forget Emerils robust dark roast! Ok... what would happen if i submerged the coffee pot in the pool for a while? YOU think I could drown it? |

So we paid the $10 and got a new one sent to us as well. It actually happened again once so far on this one. Obviously there is some kind of design flaw on this model and it's really a shame! We love not having a pot!
