Breny -- everyone starts at the same place -- with absolutely 0 experience. I just happened to start on my sewing adventure a long time ago.....

LOL! it took so long cause I had NO IDEA WHAT I WAS DOING! The funniest thing is a friend of ours was over and HE was the one that figured it out

I just don't get why the thread has to go onto the bobbin, around a thing, down a opening, up an opening hook through a metal thing, down a home through the needle, under the foot and out the back!! LOL! and that was only the top thread! All that to make it go through fabric

Now that I have done it about 25 times (yes I kept messing it up

) it doesn't seem to bad!
As Cindy said....everyone has to start somewhere....just give it a go!

LOL! I just recently started my sewing career by making a memory quilt for my grandmother. And the first thing I thought when I saw the title of your thread was... "the one that will bounce when you throw it out the window!" During the making of just that one quilt I assure you that I wanted to throw mine out the window no less than 100 times. Of course by the end I learned that most of it was user error on my part and not a flaw in the machine.

Anyway lots of luck on your first project! My quilt turned out well and many people asked if I sold them. So just take your time and make sure and have someone lock all your windows and hide your sledgehammer
