| The only thing I know to feed them is lettuce. Tricksie would have a ball if we had a turtle.

| Do you know what kind of turtle? Is it a water turtle like a Slider, or is it land turtle like a Box Turtle? We've had lots of Sliders (many from the wild) - they are quite intelligent and really very friendly once they feel safe. I always wanted a Box Turtle but never did, so I don't know much about those.

| Bubble..... how cute!! I don't know, but he's really huge! Do you live in an area where he might have been a pet that wandered off? He is soooo cool!

| i don't think so there's woods in back of my house, and they found him hiding out there. he seems scared of us, so i don't think he was someones pet, but then again it could just be because he doesn't know us

| He's CUTE!! I've heard of people having "pet" turtles that just hung out in the backyard. These were turtles that originally came from the wild. What if you kept him in the little area he is now, since it's still partially in your backyard, until he got used to you? Then you could let him roam your backyard. If you feed him, I'm sure he'd stick around. He'd probably like it a lot more in the backyard vs. a cage. Just a thought. |
