| Aw sorry to read the sad news. In the future, calling your local SPCA is a good first step. Sometimes they can help directly, but if not they can lead you to another organization. My DH found a wounded baby bat and our SPCA gave us a few good leads. (Though before we could get it poor thing to help, it passed away...)

| I can't believe I am just now seeing this thread for the first time! It was so sweet of you to take the birdy in.. I'm so sorry it passed.. but I'm sure it was for the best.. at least now it isn't suffering.. And Peaches is just being a dog.. although it can be frustrating/sad don't be mad at her.. she doesn't understand.. she thinks she's helping by keeping them "away"
