| Household Tips!!! Since I enjoy cleaning and doing household things I was wondering if anyone has any household tips (or tricks) that they would like to share that they find useful! A few that I do are: Line the very top of my kitchen cabinets w/newspaper so I never have to go up there and dust, just roll up the paper and replace it w/new. If you have left over salad place it in a ziplock bag and add a paper towel. It helps absorb the moisture so your lettuce does not turn brown so quickly. After you fold you sheets stick the fitted and top sheet inside the pillowcase, this way everything stays together. What are some of yours????

| I am trying to think of some of mine but heres one: You can get clothes unwrinkled by putting them in the dryer with a damp towel and a bounce sheet

| Oh I have another..... After you take a shower and the floor is still wet, sprinkle it w/a box of powdered dishwashing detergent and let sit over night. Rinse it off well and it should leave the floor of the shower white and new looking!!!

| Windex... it cleans EVERYTHING... LOL Oh to get out candle wax from a carpet, put a towel over the wax and iron it. The iron melts the wax and transfers it to the towel.

Thats a good one! If you have dried wax that you can not get out of a candle holder stick the holder in the freezer for about 30 minutes and then you can pop the wax right out!

| Thanks for starting this thread - especially for those of us who don't love to clean so much -- although if I didn't have to work, cleaning wouldn't be so bad. I will be adopting a couple of your ideas -- love the newspapers on top of the cupboards. I used to put paper towels up there. Pillowcase idea is great!
