| And kitten makes 4(and IM STOPPING) I got a kitten. A 6 week old gray baby boy with NO tail. Were calling him Zod. The dogs love him and he thinks its all about playing. IM having problems deciding where to put the kitty litter(dog treat box),and what food to feed. I found a cat food with 45% protien and it seems great but its causing runs. I think it might be to rich. Tank did protest the first night, He peed ON my purse. Ive decided NOT to get the male rehome in town. The more I talk to her the more I worry about what he would bring into the house(bad habits). Shes coming clean more and more and Im just afraid I will regret him. Besides I only need 1 new baby at a time. Any litter suggsetions? |

Donating YT 10K Club Member | For a long time our litter box was gated off in the laundry room. Eventually the dogs forgot about kitty treats and I was able to take the gate down. Kitties need high protein food....without a lot of protein in their diets they can go blind. Really. Introducing kittens to dogs has always gone better at my house than the other way around. Cats to puppies. I laughed at your title. My husband gives me the pet limit speech...each and every time I add another. This is it! No more pets. You have reached the pet limit....and I just think..yeah til the next one. LOL Besides my dogs...we have two kitties. Oh gosh...do I love a kitten...they are so dang funny. Love love....walking walking walking...sudden have to hunch up and pounce!

| Awww....congratulations on your new kitty!....Tank and him should become very good playmates!...It sounds like you have an American Bobtail kitten.....I have two, one has a 3 inch tail and one has no tail, I guess the no tail is called a "rumpy", all of my yorkies love chasing them and playing together...... I had to put the litter in a Rubbermaid tub where the sides are about 8 inches high, it just makes more of an effort to reach in.... This is Zoey the rumpy.... Good luck with Zod!

| I stopped Topper from enjoying "cat snacks" by getting a litter box with a hood. The sides are taller and with only the opening in the front he hasn't tried to get in it.
