| Moving to Palm Springs area soon In about 2 months,my family and I will be moving from N.C. to the Palm Springs area of Ca. Can anyone that lives in that area tell me a little about it, such as good/bad neighborhoods, good reputable groomers, good places to buy quality yorkie food and treats (wellness/innova/etc ) We are looking for a house to rent to start out with and would like to find a nice safe neighborhood. My Dh's parents live in Rancho Mirage and seem to like it,however,I don't know if theres going to be anything available in that area when we get there and I'm looking for alternatives. Anything else you think I should know about the area, feel free to post (and Yippee! I know its going to be hotter than 40 h*ll when we move...but at least its a nice dry heat! )

| Palm Springs is nice and not always a dry heat. August is brutal. It is also VERY gay friendly, I like that but not everyone does. North La Quinta is great as well as some areas in Palm Desert. Good Luck! |

| I live in Palm Desert...PM me and I'll tell you ALL, LOL. Are you actually moving to Palm Springs itself? Are you coming out here to look for a place before you move? Do you have a realtor? (No, I'm not a realtor, lol). I've looked at just about EVERY neighborhood, gated community and area between Palm Springs and Indio/La Quinta. Get ready, girl....it's gonna be HOT this summer! And yeah..with all the watering of golf courses, it's not always a DRY heat, LOL!
