| Your favorite holiday,,,,,,,,, I have been laidup because of my ankel. I went through our picture boxes and tried putting them in order by date and getting them into photo albums. I thought it would be fun to start a thread on our favorite holidays. We just love holloween. We make a big thing every year. Haunted house with sound effects, grafics, and monsters that will jump at you from all kinds of different directions. Our house is well known around here. The little kids don't dare come up to the door anymore. I have my daughter take candy out to them at the sidewalk and even then,,,,, some of them will take off running. You may say we have warp sence of humors but we find it really fun. Here is some pictures we took 2 years ago. The fam with one of our many scarry dummies. And the other is of my silly kids who love helping out with scarring the patuties out of the kids.

| I love Christmas especially Christmas Eve. We're Italian and in our family Christmas Eve is celebrated more than Christmas Day. We feast on fish and drink wine. It's also my birthday! I can't wait for this Christmas now that we have Brutus. I want to dress him up and take a family photo to send to everyone!

| My kids would of course say Christmas. But I think my favorite is Easter. Candy, presents, new clothes, Easter egg coloring and hunting. Yeah, I think Easter, just as much fun as Christmas but not as much work. |

Banning Thread Dictator Donating Member | I'm a big Halloween fan. I work nights, so most years I take a vacation day to ensure I'm at home to give out candy and scare the kids. I think it's a holdover from my childhood. I used to hate the houses that were dark or where no one answered the door. I don't dress up, but I made a home-made tape of scary sounds, and I have a microphone where I shout out the neighborhood kids' names. Needless to say, we go through a lot of candy.

| I love the holidays! I start decorating from halloween all the way to easter. Then I am happy for a break and summertime to come. At our old house halloween was an adventure - there was no reason to close your door, and when I took the kids around - we grown-ups would chat at the end of the sidewalks. We had a circular neighborhood of about four blocks - almost everyone was out and giving candy. We moved last year and are not on a halloween line - sure saves on candy and my kids are too big to trick-or-treat. But memories are forever and I know my kids can remember halloween as the same great fun as I do from my childhood.

| Christmas, Halloween, Easter....I love every holiday but I really go all out on Christams...lol, although I have to figure out how we are going to be able to do a chirstmas tree with Maximus...knowing him, I will wake up one day to see him hanging from the top swirling around after he ate all the decorations off one by one and hid them in certaiun parts of the house....so maybe a miniture tabletop tree this year..lol

Donating YT 7000 Club Member | Our families 2 favorite holidays are christmas ans halloween. we go CRAZY for both. for halloween we have scary music inside and out. we have dummies and witches and things that jump out at you. and last year we had this coffin that our neighbor laied in, and everytime someone walked by he would sit up and stare at them and lay back down. it was hysterical (our grass is still dead from it.) for christmas we go up to my cousin's house in pennsylvania. she lives on this huge farm in this GIGANTIC house. but she doesn't have ny animals, i keep bugging her to get me a horse. well, thats about it, and we decorate our xmas tree, and yard,of course.

| I like Halloween because you can scare the jebers outta kids! I run our local Drama Club and we do a haunted house as a fund raiser- that is a lot of fun. Christmas is fun for the kids, I just wish shopping wasn't such a pain. I love the decorating and family gatherings. Just not the gift part (too much work- big big family) I have been trying to get the family to remember why we have the Christ"mas" season!

| I love Thanksgiving. It's MY holiday, no in-laws running around putting their 2 cents in, it's just me, my hubby, my son and frinds who couldn't make it home.We cook a feast and have lots of fun. I also love Christmas Eve, the busiest day of the year for me! My son would say Halloween |
